Heroes climb Kilimanjaro
L/Cpl Craig Lundberg was robbed of his sight by a grenade in Iraq.
But he refused to let it stop him making the summit alongside Page 3 Peta to help raise a whopping £70,000 for charity. Sun-backed injured troops fund Help for Heroes is among those to benefit. And Craig, 24 - who had pal Andrew Larky to guide him away from huge drops - said: "I was determined the mountain wouldn't beat me. Help for Heroes is a great charity and morale has been fantastic."
Meanwhile, Peta, 22, paid tribute to the "incredibly brave" group. They included amputees Stuart Trow and John Sandford, 43, and Jon Le Galloudec, 28.
Jon had to learn to walk again after he was shot in the spine.
Fifteen climbers in all reached the 19,340ft summit on Thursday after a six-day trek, walking for up to nine hours a day in temperatures touching -12°C.
Peta said: "Altitude sickness made it very hard. I was physically sick. It was very emotional reaching the top."
Jon said: "It was harder than learning to walk again।" SAS hero Stuart, 32 - who lost his leg after being shot in Afghanistan - added: "What kept me going was the thought of how much money has been donated."

PAGE 3 girl Peta Todd and a band of wounded soldiers reach the top of Africa's tallest mountain yesterday after an exhausting six-day trek.
Sixteen bravely started the climb of 19,340ft Mount Kilimanjaro to raise cash for Help for Heroes. Thirteen got to the top just after 5am. Among them were two lower leg amputees and L/Cpl Craig Lundberg, 24, of Liverpool, who lost his sight in Iraq.
Peta, 22, said: "This was the hardest thing I have ever done." Craig, fourth from left, was led by a pal. He said: "I was determined."

Training ... John, left, and Stewart prepping for climb
A GROUP of brave soldiers are defying terrible injuries to climb Africa's Mount Kilimanjaro to raise cash for Help for Heroes.
Amputee John Sandford Hart, 43 - seen training with Colour Serjeant Stewart Le Couilliard in Snowdonia, Wales - will join four other badly-wounded heroes on the 19,000ft climb.
Also taking part are Lance Corporal Craig Lundberg, 24, blinded by a grenade in Basra, L/Cpl Jonathon Le Galloudec, 28, paralysed by a bullet in the spine, Cpl Tony Burbidge, 27, shot in the left elbow, and former SAS trooper Stuart Trow, 33, who lost a leg.
Joining them are Natalie Fellows, 23, whose Lance Corporal hubby Jamie died in Afghanistan and Sun Page 3 Girl Peta, 19.

WALAHI NIMECHOKA KABISA...!!
Arsenal 2 Liverpool 1
Fran Merida's wonder goal was wiped out by Liverpool left-back Emiliano Insua's equally-spectacular long-ranger - before Bendtner lashed a 50th minute clincher.
Merida fired a 20-yarder in off the near post after 19 minutes to reward the young Gunners' clear edge in fluency early on - often inspired by midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
But nine minutes later Ryan Babel nodded down for Insua to grab his own special maiden goal. Insua's long-range volley swerved and dipped on its way in over keeper Lukasz Fabianski.
Bendtner - having dithered when he raced onto one opportunity - then delayed inexcusably with a gaping far-post chance, before ending a goalmouth scramble with a weak shot straight at Diego Cavalieri.
Yet it was Liverpool who ended the first half the stronger, David Ngog conjuring some dangerous runs.
Arsenal, though, responded with Bendtner's slightly fortuitous strike.
The enigmatic striker profited from a kind ricochet to wriggle clear and smash a left-footer in the top near corner.
Babel and Andriy Voronin led Liverpool's charge after that. But the Gunners' eager youngsters defended with pace and spirit.
And even Liverpool debutant Alberto Aquilani, on as a substitute, failed to deliver a second leveller, despite providing two superb passes within minutes of his arrival.

PHEW ... These rides will definitely make your eyes water
Bonk boffins in China's Chongquing province have been showing locals how to have a good time - with the country's first ever SEX theme park.
Set to open this October, Love Land exhibits naked human sculptures, giant genitalia and even boasts a sex workshop for visitors to perfect their technique.
And while it may sound like a cock and bull story, the amorous amusements are all too real for angry locals. rotests have been stirring up ever since planners started building work.
Dune you know what it is yet?
LIFE'S a beach for this pair of busty babes.
While pin ups like Jordan opt for silicon, they are made entirely out of silicon dioxide - sand.
They are just one of the many creations that make up FIESA 2009 International Sand Sculpture festival in Pera open to the public next week.
An international team of 60 sculptors have turned 35,000 tons of the beige stuff into sculptures spread over 15,000 square metres.

Jacko's treasures go on show
The show opens on Wednesday at the capital's O2 Bubble, just yards from where Michael Jackson was due to stage his comeback concerts this summer.
Among the exhibits are an oil painting of the pop icon dressed as a king and three joined images of the singer being crowned, knighted and holding a magical sword.
A 1984 letter to Jackson from the then US president Ronald Reagan wishing the star a quick recovery after his hair was set on fire, is also being shown.
As some of Jackson's best-known hits are piped through the building, visitors will wander around a regal archway with a crown and crest from the star's fairytale Neverland ranch.
Beneath it stands Jackson's 1967 Rolls-Royce Phantom, used by the singer and his close friend Dame Elizabeth Taylor to go for spins around Los Angeles.
Slightly wackier items include a rocket ship used in Jackson's Leave Me Alone video and a carousel-style rocking horse which was a gift from Dame Elizabeth.
The saddle of the horse is inscribed: "To MJ love ET".
Other exhibits include an original Jackson Five contract, the King of Pop's trademark jewelled gloves and a pair of shoes with part of the heel cut out used when the star performed his hit Smooth Criminal.
The Reagan letter dated 1984 reads: "I was pleased to learn that you were not seriously hurt in your recent accident.
"I know from experience that these things can happen on the set - no matter how much caution is exercised.
"All over America, millions of people look up to you as an example ... You've gained quite a number of fans along the road since I Want You Back and Nancy and I are among them."
Jackson died in June aged 50, just weeks before his 50-date comeback concerts were due to start at the O2.
A new album of the singer's music, titled This Is It, has been released to coincide with the premiere of the documentary of the same name.

United match Euro record
PLASTIC FANTASTIC ... Valencia pounces for winner in Moscow to equal away record
MANCHESTER UNITED equalled the Champions League away record - and put one foot in the last 16
Antonio Valencia's late winner clinched a 14th Euro away trip without defeat - a feat set by Ajax between 1994-97.
Boss Alex Ferguson said: "I think we should be proud of it. It's not easy away from home in Europe, we've been to some fantastic places over the years."
United probably need just one point from three games to make it into the knockout stages once again.
And Fergie added: "We show maturity. There's a way of playing away in Europe and you saw it tonight. We showed good patience, kept good possession.
"I'm very pleased with the performance. The plastic surface was never a problem because good players can play on any surface.
"We showed a lot of patience in the first half, which is necessary away from home. In the second-half, we showed more penetration and created some good opportunities, but if you have to wait until the 86th minute, then so be it.
"I've always maintained we need 10 points. We host CSKA next, so we have the opportunity to ensure we go through."
It was Valencia's second goal in as many games following his £16million summer switch from Wigan.
Ferguson said: "Valencia has been a plus point for the last few weeks. He is emerging very well, settling into the club and his confidence is getting stronger.
"He has tremendous assets for a wide player, but the assets he didn't show at Wigan were his goals, where he would maybe get three or four a season. This was his challenge when he signed for us. Two in two games will help him."
Ferguson said he brought off Rio Ferdinand and Paul Scholes in the second half to save them for Sunday's clash with Liverpool। Fabio was helped off at the end but only had cramp.

Fergie: Now you’re four it
Wayne Rooney, Patrice Evra, Ryan Giggs and Darren Fletcher missed Manchester United's trip to Moscow.
But if under-pressure Kop boss Benitez is hoping they will be absentees for this weekend's Anfield clash, he has another thing coming.
United chief Fergie said: "We are hoping we get the main players fit because it's a big game.
"Evra will be fit for Sunday. He's just had a little problem with his heel. "I'm hoping Rooney, Giggs and Fletcher will be fit."
Rooney, nursing a calf injury from England duty last week, will be a late call for the Kop showdown.
But Ryan Giggs should shake off a slight cold while Darren Fletcher has responded well to treatment on a groin problem.
If the quartet all return, they could help to put an end to Liverpool's title bid having lost four games already.
Fergie will tonight be focusing on moving a step closer to qualification for the last 16 in the Champions League.
Two wins out of two against Besiktas and Wolfsburg have put United well on track.
The build-up to their meeting with CSKA Moscow has been low-key compared to the last time United visited the Luzhniki Stadium when they beat Chelsea on penalties to lift the European Cup in 2008.
Ferguson said: "You don't forget those nights but it's about this game now - you have to move on."
That final was played on grass but this group game will be on an artificial pitch. And CSKA defender Sergei Ignashevich insists his side can use that to their advantage, especially as he believes United struggle on the road.
Ignashevich said: "They have weak points. They are less aggressive away from home.
"Aside from home support, we have the advantage of playing on artificial turf.
"Several United players played on this pitch against Russia for England and they know how different it is.

Fresh Prince of Albert Square ... that’s megastar Will Smith

Queen Vic and prince...mock-up of will in pub.
HOLLYWOOD megastar Will Smith is desperate to land his dream role - on EASTENDERS.Will has begged BBC bosses for a cameo on Albert Square after becoming obsessed with the show.
The former Fresh Prince of Bel Air's addiction started when he visited the UK this year promoting his film Seven Pounds.
Will, 41 - Hollywood's highest paid actor last year - said: "I was just chilling in my hotel and EastEnders was on TV. I didn't even know what it was, but I literally could not stop watching it.
"It was like a week's worth of episodes in one. Before I knew it, all I had done was get room service and waste a whole afternoon watching this show I'd never heard of!
"It was so real and gritty. American soaps are all about the beautiful people and being cheesy. This soap had everything.
"There was fighting, people sleeping around - it had it all going on! I'm a bit busy but when things quieten down I'd love to do a cameo. I could make a big entrance in the pub, as you guys call it, and be like: 'Hey, girl let's take this outside.' "
Will wants to start a campaign to get the soap shown on BBC America once more.
The channel axed 'Enders broadcasts in the US in 2003. It is now shown only on a subscription satellite चैनल.
The star added: "If the BBC boys are reading this, sort it out, man and start showing it again! Get it back on our TV screens."
WILL Smith could have appeared in some very different films if he'd joined EastEnders first.
These are our favourite five:
1। Hancockney 2. Oi, Robot 3. IndepEnders Day 4. Men In Blackwall 5. Wild Wild East
Houston, she has a problem
POP diva Whitney Houston's comeback appearance on The X Factor last night was marred by an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction with her frock.
Whitney, 46, was visibly annoyed as she struggled with a loose strap on the long silvery dress during a live performance of her new single Million Dollar Bill.
The six-time Grammy winner, backed by a troupe of male dancers, pulled a face when she realised the strap was sticking out.
Her problem followed Robbie Williams' appearance on the ITV1 show last week, when he struggled to get on stage through a jammed door.
Judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue gave her a standing ovation when she finished - but Sun readers phoned in to call the performance "appalling".
Afterwards, Whitney hesitated for long periods before answering questions in an interview with host Dermot O'Leary.
Looking hot, she joked about the trouble with her dress, saying: "I sang my song out of my dress."
But when Dermot asked about her comeback album she looked blank. After a pause, she said: "Album? It should be released this week."
She then joked of Cowell: "Simon calls me lippy because I say what's on my mind, just like he does And when Dermot asked Whitney about the standard of this year's X Factor contestants she paused for several seconds, before saying: "They are young. They have room to grow. Practice, practice, practice."
Whitney admitted to US talk show host Oprah Winfrey last month that she used to smoke marijuana and crack cocaine. She got clean of drugs after going to rehab.
Janet Jackson, 43, famously had a breast pop out of her dress on live TV in 2004.

Goodbye 'little brother'
BRAVE BOYZONE stars paid a musical tribute to their former bandmate and "little brother" STEPHEN GATELY at his funeral.
The performance inside the St Laurence O'Toole Church in Dublin was relayed on loud speakers to over 3,500 mourners who had lined the streets outside.
The four remaining members - RONAN KEATING, KEITH DUFFY, MIKEY GRAHAM and SHANE LYNCH - sang In This Life, a song written by Keating.
They performed one more song, Happiness, which followed an emotional eulogy containing humour as well as tearful moments.
DUFFY described Gately as the band's "little brother" whom they would always protect.

Emotional ... Stars with coffin.
He told his former bandmate's civil partner ANDREW COWLES he now has "four new brothers" and the star's parents MARTIN and MARGARET have "four new sons", adding they should expect an expensive Christmas now they've got "eight new grandchildren".
Graham praised Gately, whom they called Steo, for bringing "colour to the band" and the band "felt black and white without him". He also recalled Gately's love of his partner and family.
"Stephen's love for Andrew was true and only last week he told me how lucky he felt to have him by his side," he said.
"But Steo always kept in touch with his family at home in Dublin, making frequent trips home to see his Mam and Dad, sister Michelle and her family and his brothers TONY, MARK and ALAN and their families."
Keating, who broke down towards the end of his tribute, recalled the star's love of performing and how much he was looking forward to working on new Boyzone material.
He said the band would continue and his spirit would live on in the songs, before adding: "It will never be the same without him".
Ronan said: "The world has lost one of its brightest stars. We have lost a brother and I have lost my wing man."
He added: "Forever young and never forgotten. A friend, a brother, a son, a husband and a hero.
"We are going to miss you brother, we love you and we always will. We know you have found peace, perfect peace."
He also revealed Gatley's loved ones would "by hook or by crook" finish the book that he had nearly completed about his life.
His parents and brothers were seen hugging each other throughout the ceremony which was also attended by some of Gately's famous friends, including WESTLIFE, BRIAN MCFADDEN, DAVID FURNISH and JASON DONOVAN.
LOUIS WALSH, the band's manager, felt unable to speak at the service because the loss was still too raw, but penned a touching tribute instead.
He wrote: "Stephen was one of life's positive people with a lovely nature and he was someone who always had a smile on his face.
"He loved to laugh and joke and was always the life and soul of the party and would give everyone he met his time.
"He would always thank me for the success he'd gained through Boyzone but on reflection I should be the one to have thanked him as he brought so much into my life, and the career I've loved in pop music is largely down to Stephen and the rest of Boyzone."
Some of Gately's old friends also praised him for never forgetting his roots.Childhood pal PADDY FEELY described the Boyzone star as a gentleman.
"He was an inspiration to the country, to what young people can achieve.
"People like Stephen, they had nothing but they achieved an awful lot.
"Did anybody ever think that a young guy from the inner-city would reach headlines on the world's TV and radio?
"But he never forgot where he came from."
Fans burst into another round of applause when the coffin left the church, throwing white roses onto the road as the hearse passed.
His body was being taken to Glasnevin Crematorium for a private service and guests will tonight head to a Dublin hotel for the star's wake.
