Lil Wayne Conducts First Post-Jail Interview

Four days into his freedom, Lil Wayne has conducted his first post-jail interview.
MTV News caught up with Weezy at the rapper's Homecoming party at the King of Diamonds strip club in Miami yesterday (November 7). Wayne kept it brief, but made sure to thank his fans for their support during his 8-month incarceration at Rikers Island in New York.
“I just wanna thank everybody, not only MTV fans, but the fans all across the world," Wayne told MTV's Sway. "Most of all my family. I couldn’t have done it without them and I won’t ever do it without them."
As previously reported, Wayne surprised Drake at the final stop of his Light Dreams and Nightmares tour at Las Vegas' Hard Rock Hotel this past Saturday (November 6). The rapper struggled to describe the moment in which he unexpectedly raced onto the Hard Rock stage to perform his verse from Drizzy's "Miss Me."
“It’s unexplainable, words can’t explain," said Wayne. "I’m good with words, but they can’t explain it."
Wayne also said he's putting his time at Rikers behind him. “I forgot about yesterday,” he told Sway before making his way into the venue.
Meanwhile, the Hard Rock fans weren't the only ones surprised by Weezy's appearance. Drake, who had hinted at the Young Money boss' appearance for weeks, was under the impression that Wayne wouldn't be able to make it to his concert.
“I was elated, I was on a high just knowing Wayne was home and knowing I’m gonna see him tomorrow," Drake told Sway. "Everybody around me was just playing me, including Wayne. I talked to him on the phone. He was like, 'Oh, it’s your last show tonight? Oh, yea, in LA or something like that?' I was like, 'It’s in Vegas actually.' He was like, ‘Ok cool, I’ma see you in Miami, you know. I got my party so I hope you make it out.' I was like, 'Ok, it’s all good.' I mean, he just came home."
