GOOD news chaps - JESSICA SIMPSON is back on the dating scene.
The singer-turned-actress has taken a break from men in the aftermath of her heartbreaking split from TONY ROMO last year.
But the blonde beauty told US chatshow hostess ELLEN DEGENERES she's been "mingling" on the sly for the past few weeks.
She said: "I'm single. I mingle around very privately.
"I have ways in and out of my house and certain places that I go that are private just so I can have a normal life. I'm still out there and bring normal."
With a list of former beaus that includes NICK LACHEY and JOHN MAYER, Jess's high-profile romances have always attracted publicity.
However, she's open to offers from Joe Public.
She revealed: "It doesn't really matter to me. They definitely have to understand my life and what I put up with and what I deal with.
"Being scrutinised publicly, they can definitely make or break a relationship, and you have to have that strong foundation so I have to have somebody that understands that kind of lifestyle."
