Snoop Dogg Pimps Your Nav System

Okay it was funny when TomTom got Homer Simpson to lend his voice to their popular portable GPS navigation system. But now TomTom has plans to get some street cred with their latest celebrity voice-over – the D-O-double G. That’s right folks, Hip-Hop legend and bonafide G, Snoop Dogg is lending his one-of-a-kind voice to TomTom’s stable of available voice.

According to NME, the Long Beach rapper/actor/businessman/reality star will be lending his signature Snoop lingo with unique phrases like, “Keep left ahead, and you'll be bona fide". In addition, Snoop has also recorded a file containing information about some of the artist’s favorite chill spots and places that hold a special spot in the Doggfather’s heart.
If you’re curious about Snoop’s vocal work, you can check out the video of the GPS in action on Voiceskins.com, the company rounding up your favorite celebs for navigational voice-overs. You can purchase Snoop’s voiceskin for $12.95. And don’t worry if you’re rocking an older version of TomTom, all voiceskins are fully functional on all TomTom products. Snoop dogg
