The attack of the album delay has yet again affected the release of Lil Wayne’s rock-inspired set, “The Rebirth. According to Cash Money head honcho, Birdman the project is now slated for a February 1st release instead of December 15th.
Breaking the news via his Twitter account, Birdman5Star, Birdman tweeted, “Rebirth album pushback Feb.1, Young Money coming out December 21 yadig YM CMB.”
Though the label has yet to release an official statement regarding the extended delay, several leaks from the project last weekend may be the cause for the push back.
Aside from the “Rebirth” set back Wayne and his Young Money counterparts will release their compilation, “We Are Young Money” on December 21. The visual for the project's first single, “Bedrock” featuring Lloyd debuted on 106 & Park Monday (December 7).
