Do rich owners unbalance the Premier League?

HARRY REDKNAPP has admitted he has no chance of signing a player if super-rich Man City are hunting the same star. Do wealthy owners make the League unfair?

The Spurs manager has spoken about the frustrations of competing against the richest club in the Premier League.

In 2008 City were purchased by the wealthy Abu Dhabi United Group which instigated a flurry of large bids for high profile players. In 2009 the club spent over £100million on new players.

Chelsea have also benefited from a rich owner, with Roman Abramovich worth approximately $11.2billion.

Does having wealthy owners make it unfair on poorer Premier League teams?
