Sauti za Busara music festival 2010 top Thanks from the Festival Director Yusuf Mahmoud, Festival Director The 7th edition of the Sauti za Busara music festival took place in Zanzibar during 11-16 February 2010. Once again we aimed high and so many people are telling us that 2010 was the best ever that we are ready to believe it ourselves. Some of the feedback we are getting is asking for longer performances - especially from visiting artists - so we are planning for 2011 to add an extra day!!! Finally, let me say a big THANK YOU from all of us involved with the festival to everyone who attended or supported us from afar. Unfortunately, we were severely let down by the festival party sponsor, mainly due to a last minute change of venue. We understand people experienced problems with travel, meals, drinks, toilets, and accommodation. Busara Promotions very much regret the disappointment of the evening and the damage to our reputation. We shall do all that is reasonably possible to ensure that this won’t happen again.
