Jay-Z Club Security Guards Fired For Assaulting Patrons

Several members of the Atlantic City 40/40 Club, Jay-Z’s franchise, were terminated from their jobs after footage surfaced showing the bouncers beating two men in the club’s parking lot.

Speaking to TMZ, Couri Glen, a former supervisor of security at the club, said the men were initially suspended, then fired for misconduct.
“We were just doing our jobs,” Glen told TMZ.

Glen claimed that security initially approached the men after receiving complaints that the two male patrons were accosting women. When security tried to escort the men out of the venue, they began attacking them.

The two men have stated they did nothing to provoke the fight. Another member of the security team told TMZ, “I lost two jobs because I was wearing another company's shirt because 40/40 said they didn't have my size shirt to wear ... so they told me just to wear that one. The other company saw the video and fired me three days later.”
