Beyoncé Sued for Breach of Contract

Software developer says the star pulled out of deal.

Beyoncé
A summons was served for Beyoncé in New York City yesterday, alleging that she reneged on an agreement to develop a motion-sensing dance video game, to be called Starpower: Beyoncé. The company Gate Five is suing for $100 million to cover lost investments and estimated profits from the venture.

The document, which can be read here, says, in part: “Though she had already negotiated lavish compensation terms to which she was contractually bound, Ms. Carter, at a crucial moment in the project’s development, made an extortionate demand for entirely new compensation terms she suddenly decided she wanted. When her maneuver backfired and drove away the financier (who found Ms. Carter too erratic to do business with), she pulled out of the project in breach of the agreement. Her actions where so unscrupulous that her then manager (who is also her father) renounced them.…”

Gate Five says that as a result of Beyoncé pulling out of the deal, they were forced to lay off 70 people the week before Christmas.

No comment yet from Beyoncé’s camp.

Chris Brown's Rep Denies Engagement

A spokesperson for the singer says rumors of a proposal are not true.

Chris Brown
Wedding bells are not in Chris Brown's immediate future. No wedding cake. No ice sculpture. No cheesy electric slide. Nothing. A rep for the singer refuted claims that he had proposed to his girlfriend, 22-year old model Karrueche Tran, over the phone. "It is not true," his rep told E! News.

According to eonline.com, Tran was by CB's side during his Good Morning America debacle. The couple has also been spotted together in a few different locations since last December. The Vietnamese model is from Los Angeles, and is said to be good friends with fellow model Vanessa Simmons.

The China Girl songwriter was introduced to the Rude Boy singer by his wife IMAN at a leukaemia benefit in New York last night.
And hats off to the Thin White Duke - who rarely ventures out these days - for managing to avoid eye contact with the songbird's semi-exposed assets as she leaned in for the meet and greet.
She was on sizzling form at the charity bash, turning heads in a figure-hugging black gown and a spectacular hairdo.
The social butterfly also bumped into actress EVA MENDES, designer VERA WANG and BEYONCE KNOWLES' sister SOLANGE.

IT was so good they did it twice.

Wills and Kate sealed their marriage with a kiss on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
But then, urged on by a cheering 500,000-strong crowd watching from The Mall, they did it again after the groom told his bride: "One more kiss? Go on, come here!"
The pair of smackers were very different in character. The FIRST, which came at 1.27pm, was a quick, bashful peck lasting just 0.76 of a second.

But the SECOND, two minutes later, was longer, deeper and more tender. It went on for 1.25 seconds and William clearly wanted more, as it was Kate who pulled away first.
The double embrace was the highlight of a happy and glorious day in which the couple's joy was shared by the one million well-wishers who lined London's streets and the two billion people around the world who watched on TV.

It evoked vivid memories of the balcony kiss shared by William's parents Charles and Diana 30 years ago.
But, as our picture above top shows, it failed to impress one important member of the wedding party.
As the newlyweds puckered up, bridesmaid Grace van Cutsem, three, grimaced and held her hands over her ears to shut out the noise from the swaying sea of red, white and blue beneath her.

CROWD goes wild as happy royal couple smooch at Buckingham Palace
Wills, 28, and 29-year-old Kate - now the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge - made their eagerly-awaited appearance on the balcony following a Westminster Abbey wedding rich in spectacle and unrivalled pageantry. Chants of "We want Kate" from the crowd changed to cheers as the Prince walked out with his beautiful bride.
As Kate saw the size of the throng, she exclaimed: "Oh, wow!"

William pointed to the mass of Union flags being waved energetically all along The Mall. He said: "They're all along that side and on the other side and along that side as well. There are people on all sides. Look at the banner there."
Kate then gently encouraged bridesmaids Margarita Armstrong-Jones, eight, and Eliza Lopes, three, by telling them: "You should wave."

A new chant - "kiss, kiss, kiss, kiss" - went up as the couple were joined by the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla. The chorus moved like a wave back along The Mall from the palace gates, picking up strength all the time.
But a strange hush descended as Wills responded by leaning coyly towards Kate. He told her: "Kate, shall we? Shall we kiss. Come on, OK? The kiss." After the peck William stood back, smiled and asked: "That OK?"

But it was not enough for the crowd. Sensing their mood, Wills told Kate: "Do you want this? Takes a bit of getting used to. Another kiss! Do another kiss? One more, one more kiss? Go on, come here."
He lingered longer this time but then stepped back looking flustered and said: "That's it. No more, no more, I'm embarrassed."

Then William cheekily turned to best man Prince Harry, who was standing by Kate's sister Pippa Middleton, and said: "Harry - your go!"
The newlyweds waved again before a roar from above signalled the flypast by a Lancaster bomber, a Spitfire and a Hurricane. Seconds later, four fighter jets flew over in the shape of a diamond.
At that moment, the clouds that had covered London since dawn briefly broke to allow the incredible scene to be bathed in sunshine.

The wedding of the century began early in the morning when the Queen conferred the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Wills and Kate to mark their union.
Kate is NOT a Princess, even though she married a Prince. Only the monarch can make her one. But she is expected to become popularly known as Princess Kate.

WATCH the moment William and Kate officially became husband and wife
William, in the uniform of an Irish Guards officer, left Clarence House with Harry at 10.13am, arriving at the Abbey to rapturous applause in a chauffeured Bentley.

He was joined by Kate just after 11am after she left London's Goring hotel in a Rolls-Royce Phantom VI with dad Michael. Crowds cooed as they got their first glimpse of the bride's lace and satin dress. After the ceremony the beaming newlyweds were taken to Buckingham Palace through ecstatic crowds in the 1902 State Landau - in which smiling Kate told William: "I'm so happy." He replied: "Good."
The Queen and Prince Philip followed in the Scottish State Coach.
The 85-year-old monarch smiled broadly as she stepped out at the Palace. Talking of the wedding to the Crown Equerry, she said: "It was amazing." Her thoughts echoed those of VIP guest Sir Elton John, who said: "It was a great atmosphere and a fantastic day."
A two-hour formal reception at the Palace was followed last night by a more intimate family-led party. And as Kate switched into an evening gown, she summed it all up by saying: "I am glad the weather held off. We had a great day."
PRESIDENT Barack Obama congratulated the Royal couple last night and paid tribute to Britain and America's own special relationship. A statement from the White House said: "We congratulate Prince William and Catherine Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, on their wedding today and wish them a lifetime of happiness together.
"The United States has no closer friend in the world than the United Kingdom. On this occasion, the American people extend heartfelt congratulations to the peoples of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth and share in their hopes for a bright future for the Royal couple."

THE big day is finally here and while the crowds awaited Kate Middleton's arrival, all eyes were on the first arrivals - the BECKHAMS.

Queuing outside Westminster Abbey like everybody else, the stylish duo revealed their heavily anticipated wedding look.
POSH caused a stir by opting for a dark navy, custom-made frock from her own collection.
The loose shift dress was a world away from her usual ultra-fitted and fabulous look but a perfect choice for the six-months pregnant star.
She finished the look with Christian Louboutin heels and a Philip Treacy couture fascinator, but looked surprisingly nervous.
Hubby DAVID BECKHAM on the other hand looked slick in Ralph Lauren - perfectly accessorising his look with a Philip Treacy topper and his OBE.
Also among the first to arrive were TARA PALMER-TOMKINSON and singer JOSS STONE.

TPT looked fierce in a royal blue Deborah Milner frock, Philip Treacy hat, Nicholas Kirkwood heels and Asprey jewels.
Coral is this seasons must-have shade and Joss wears it well, shame about the hat though - it looks like she nicked it from her gran's wardrobe.

A right floral frock-up, PRINCESS ANNE'S dress and frock coat looked rather dated, as did the hat plonked on the top of her head.
SOPHIE, COUNTESS of WESSEX showed her sister-in-law how it's done though, looking elegant in the colour of the day - nude - and wearing a chic rose and feather hat.

Dutch/Spanish guests
The foreign royals looked fab too. THE NETHERLANDS' PRINCESS MAXIMA took a style note from the bride in a gorgeous fawn lace dress and turban.
And SPAIN'S PRINCESS LETIZIA struck a chic, 1920s-style note in dusky pink beside QUEEN SOFIA and CROWN PRINCE FELIPE.

Marina Fogle and Sophie Winkleman, Lady Frederick Windsor
Heavily pregnant but pretty as a picture, MARINA FOGLE hit just the right fashion-savvy note in an emerald dress and nude accessories beside husband BEN FOGLE.
Meanwhile, SOPHIE WINKLEMAN, LADY FREDERICK WINDSOR kept things simple and elegant navy suit, gloves and hat.

Elton has cut me out of his life for good.. it’s painful

Bitter bust-up ... Sir Elton John and his mum Sheila Farebrother in much happier times
Bitter bust-up ... Sir Elton John and
his mum in much happier times

THE mother of SIR ELTON JOHN has told of her anguish over a three-year rift with the pop superstar.

Sheila Farebrother, 86, said: "He has cut me off completely. It happened three years ago this June. He has had nothing to do with me since then.
"I don't want to go into what caused it. It is a painful subject. My son cut me out of his life for good."
Pals say Sheila made a comment that offended Sir Elton's partner DAVID FURNISH. A source said film producer David "went ballistic".

Joy ... Sir Elton John, David Furnish and Zachary

Asked directly if the split was provoked by a row with David, Sheila told The Sun: "It was something like that, but not exactly. I don't want to talk about it." She had got on so well with the couple that she was a witness when they married in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall in 2005.
But the relationship soured so much that last year Sir Elton, 64, even stayed away from the funeral of stepfather Fred Farebrother, 88.
Sheila sold her £1million home on the River Thames, just two miles from her son's £7.5million mansion in Old Windsor, and moved 60 miles to a seaside bungalow in Littlehampton, West Sussex.
She also sold a treasure trove of her son's memorabilia for £28,820.
More than 200 items went under the hammer from more than 40 years of touring. But asked it the auction was related to their rift, Sheila insisted: "That has nothing to do with it. I moved into a smaller place and had nowhere to keep all that stuff."
Sheila did not even know her son had become a dad on Christmas Day when Zachary, the baby Sir Elton and David, 48, adopted from a surrogate mum, was born in California.

Quantcast
David's parents Jack and Gladys flew from their native Canada. But Sheila said there were still no plans for her to meet her grandson.
And she added: "I have no particular interest really. You will have to ask them about that."
Sheila, who encouraged her son's musical ability as a child, divorced his RAF officer father Stanley Dwight when the singer was 15.
Stepdad Fred doted on the lad and nicknamed him "Derf" - his own name backwards.
Sheila confirmed that the multi-millionaire singer continues to look after her financially, despite their bitter bust-up.
Asked to comment on the falling out, she said: "I'd rather not. I don't want to start mudslinging. It was very painful.
"But I've got a lot of good friends so I don't have to be bothered with it all."
A spokesman for Sir Elton said: "I have never had a conversation with him about whether he talks to his mother. She is a lovely lady but she is 86 and she is frail and old."

Brush with fame ... Justin's singing teeth cleaners

IF you thought you'd seen it all on the JUSTIN BIEBER merchandise front, you were wrong.

The teen titan has cornered a previously uncharted market with the launch of his very own singing toothbrushes.
The electric scrubbers will come in two designs - one plays Biebs' hit tunes Baby and U Smile, while the other blasts out Somebody To Love and Love Me.
Each song lasts two minutes - the recommended length of time for a teeth-brushing session.
The £6 personal hygiene appliances from Ashtel Dental will launch on July 1.
Other Bieber-themed oral care products by the company include an adult toothbrush, floss and travel kit - which includes a mini hourglass timer and a tongue scraper.
Cotton wool for parents' ears would have come in handy too...

Obama reveals birth certificate

BARACK Obama has finally released his birth certificate after years of speculation that he was not born in the US.

Despite previously revealing an official "certification of live birth", which showed the President was born in Hawaii, rumours persisted.
Now the White House have caved in to the pressure and hope the move will be a final blow to "birther" theorists who have insisted Mr Obama was born in his father's native Kenya, making him ineligible to hold office.
Mr Obama said he had watched, puzzled and bemused, as the conspiracy grew over the past years.
He said: "We do not have time for this kind of silliness. We've got better stuff to do. I have better stuff to do.

"We've got big problems to solve, and I'm confident we can solve them, but we're going to have to focus on them - not on this." Tycoon Donald Trump, a potential Republican candidate, spurred on the doubts of a number of Americans, by continuously demanding Mr Obama release the document.
Under the US constitution, only a "natural born citizen", meaning born in the US or in some cases to US citizens abroad, is eligible to be president.

US President holds briefing after latest claims about Hawaii birth by Donald Trump
The certificate, which has been stored in a vault in  Hawaii since his birth in August 1961, was released today with a stamp verifying its authenticity.
It shows Barack Hussein Obama II was born August 4 1961 in Honolulu, to Barack Hussein Obama, a 25-year-old student, and Stanley Ann Dunham, 18, and includes the signature of the attending physician.
President Obama said he hoped that the debate would now be put to bed.
He said: "This issue has been going on for two and a half years.
"I have watched with bemusement. We have posted the certification that is given by the state of Hawaii. And yet this thing keeps on going.
"Normally I would not comment on this - I have more important things to do."

Is Justin Timberlake Going Bald?

Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake has all the reasons in the world to be confident: His acting career continues to blossom and there’s a growing cry for him to return to his musical roots. Still, one gossip magazine is claiming that Timberlake’s been feeling a little antsy and insecure lately. Indeed, according to In Touch Weekly Timberlake is “horrified” over his thinning hair.
In Touch quotes a source saying that Timberlake fears that his hair will ruin his dating life. The source says, “He’s keeping his hair super-short so no one notices.” Timberlake’s curly mane was a huge draw for him during his heartthrob days in the boy band *NSYNC.
The source added, "He's using specially formulated shampoo to promote hair growth.  He certainly doesn't want to go bald!"
Timberlake, who famously dated Britney Spears, recently broke up with actress Jessica Biel. He's since been linked with Black Swan co-star, Mila Kunis.
