The biggest break up news since Schwarzenegger and Shriver, here’s a look at how the Pop stars are coping
Out on Friday, the front cover of People
magazine says it all: “Their Marriage Explodes.” Giving fans a preview
of what to expect in the upcoming issue, the website hints at incessant
arguing between the former couple as well as infidelity fears on the
part of Jennifer Lopez. According to the celebrity mag, a source close
to Anthony says, "Though they love, admire and respect each other very
much, they just needed to be apart."
After a seven-year marriage and three-year-old twins, the idea of the
41-year-old Lopez (who turns 42 on July 24th) not being able to work it
out with her hubby has made headlines everywhere. Nonetheless, after
announcing their “amicable” decision to split on July 15, both artists
are keeping it moving. Anthony (42) performed the day after in Bogota,
Columbia and joked about being single, although he is also said to have
kept to himself before and after the show. A source tells People, "Everything he ordered was by room service. He was distant from people."
For J.Lo’s part, People
says she received $1 million for her Tuesday performance at a wedding
on the coast of the Black Sea in the Ukraine. Like her
soon-to-be-ex-hubby, the “American Idol” judge reportedly stayed in a
penthouse suite where she received a great deal of privacy. Us Weekly
says a source close to the superstar describes her as being "absolutely
beside herself. This is someone she dedicated a long time to, and that
she truly loved."
While the Bronx-natives work at being solo entities again, it seems
Lopez will have primary custody over children Emme and Max and will stay
in California, where “American Idol” finals are tapped.
