Too busy ... Rihanna
RIHANNA has revealed she was asked to be a judge on American X Factor - but turned it down as she is too busy.
The singer, 23, was offered the role by boss Simon Cowell.
But the Barbados-born star said: "It's something I'd have loved to do but our schedule doesn't allow it.
We're on tour for the rest of the year.
"You have to be around for months which would've been impossible for me."
Rihanna also praised Britney Spears after the pair recorded a cover of her single S&M.
She said: "She was great, very professional and worked very hard."
