MOVIE hero Arnold Schwarzenegger may launch a bid to become president of the EU, friends revealed yesterday.
The Terminator star turned politician, who stepped down as Governor of California in January, is talking to aides about landing the top job.
They are telling Austrian-born Arnie, 63, to return to Europe to give it a go.
His former chief of staff Terry Tamminen said: "In the next few years the EU will be looking for a more high-profile president - someone who can unify Europe."
Arnie is currently working on climate change projects with the UN.
