For sale ... Ahmadinejad's 34-year-old jalopy
THIS tired old banger has been sold by Iranian despot Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - for £1.5MILLION.
A similar 1977 Peugeot 504 would usually go for £1,000.
But the vast sum was paid by a firm wanting to show support for the leader, who auctioned it online.
A lawyer for the anonymous buyers said: "My client bought the car because of a personal interest in President Ahmadinejad and his spirit of anti-arrogance."
The tyrant, who used it as his official vehicle, also had bids from Europe and the US. The cash is set for charity.
