MILEY CYRUS seems intent on building up her good girl-gone-bad image.

So a video showing her using a bong will only serve to spark yet more outrage.

The teen singer was filmed as she took a hit from the glass instrument, which is used to increase the effect of whatever substance is being smoked.

In this case, her representatives claim the contents is not anything dodgy, but a legal high called Salvia - which has a hallucinogenic effect.

Miley is seen inhaling smoke from the bong and holding it in.

She then starts giggling and "tripping" - mistaking one of the men in the room for her fella LIAM HEMSWORTH.

Cyrus flops back in her chair and laughs uncontrollably before telling her friends: "Oh I'm gonna lose it now... I'm going. Having a little bit of a bad trip.

"Is that a f****** Liam lookalike or what the hell is that? Is that my boyfriend? Is that my boyfriend? Oh my God, he looks so much like Liam."

The teen star points to her head and giggles as she asks a pal: "Is it me tripping? Is it me tripping?" before breaking down in uncontrollable laughter again.

As the clip ends her pal holding the camera tells her: "You are going to s*** a brick when you see this. I think you need some more."

Dad Billy Ray's Achy Breaky Heart must be in a million pieces by now...
