CHARLIZE THERON took a break from filming in New York to catch a basketball game in her hometown this weekend.

The stunning South African was having a ball as she watched the LA Lakers pulverise the Golden State Warriors in the NBA game.
And she revealed a little of her musical taste, choosing a TOM PETTY AND THE HEARTBREAKERS T-shirt for the occasion.

And Charlize proved a lucky mascot.
