MARIAH CAREY may have accidentally revealed that she's carrying more than one baby.

The pregnant singer appeared to slip up during an interview in the States.

While being quizzed by Radio Disney she revealed that she has sung the whole of her album Merry Christmas II You to her belly.

She then added: "I just hope that they don't turn out hating Christmas!"

And it's the word "they" that has sent everyone into a frenzy.

Could referring to her belly in the plural sense mean she has more than one baby on the way?

Well, she is rather large for someone carrying just one unborn child.

Mariah and husband NICK CANNON remained tight-lipped about her condition despite the obvious physical signs up until two weeks ago.

She made an announcement on the ELLEN DEGENERES show to confirm what everyone had suspected — that she was indeed pregnant.

Mariah married comedian Nick in April 2008.

They now have at least one baby to look forward to in 2011.

Although it could happen sooner if she keeps singing those cheesy Christmas songs at her bump...
