Daniel Craig stars as James Bond 007

WHEN it comes to major movie companies, You Only Live Twice.

The 23rd James Bond movie is back on track after struggling studio MGM filed for bankruptcy to clear its rumoured £2.5billion debts.
Plans to press ahead with the movie, with a November 2012 release, have been revived - and the company vowed to release a new 007 film every two years.
The report into MGM's finances also stated that it would own half the rights to the new film, bringing in a partner to boost the coffers, but hoped to regain full ownership of future Bond films.
Director SAM MENDES, who jumped ship when the production hit the buffers, is said to be back on board, but star DANIEL CRAIG is still in doubt.
While he is determined to return to the role, the new schedule could clash with filming of the The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy, which he is set to star in.

  1. Jason Statham would make a great James Bond if Daniel Craig opts out.
