You won't hear Lil Wayne complain once he comes home in November. While rappers often lash out at their friends for not visiting during their bid, Weezy's visitors list reads like a who's who in the hip-hop industry. Here,with help from Weezy's camp, we list some of the folks who've visited Wayne in jail since he started his sentence.
Birdman
Birdman was one of the first people to go visit Wayne. Back in April, he told MTV about his visit. "He been locked down a month," Birdman told MTV. "Seven more to go. You know he's built for that. We been around convicts and killers all our life. We from New Orleans. ... That's what the No Ceilings sh-- is about. Paradise on Earth. That's how we living. Sh--. YM/CMB, we built to last. That's what makes us. That's what we built on. That's just a nap."
Slim Williams
Slim, the other half of Cash Money's executive duo, has also been to see Lil Wayne in Rikers.
Fat Joe
Crack also took the trip to Rikers to visit his frequent collaborator in July. “He’s in great spirits," Joe told MTV. "I love Lil Wayne; that’s like my little brother. He’s just the coolest dude on Earth. I tell you one thing, him not being high made me realize how much funnier he is. This guy has jokes. We were up in there for four hours, just telling jokes, dying laughing, falling on the floor."
Jae Millz
Millz is one of many Young Money soldiers who have seen Wayne since he got locked up.
Mack Maine
One of Wayne's longtime close friends, Mack has also put in some facetime with the rapper.
Fabolous
Fab recently tweeted about his conversation with Weezy. "Talked to Lil Wayne on the phone a few days ago," he tweeted. "Thru it all, His spirit is UP!! I could hear him smiling..."
Lil Twist
Twist has also been to visit Wayne in jail.
Bun B
Wayne's camp confirmed that Bun B and Lil Wayne have talked via phone during Weezy's incarceration.
Diddy
Puff said it was only right for him to go see Wayne. "Wayne is doing great," Diddy told MTV. "It was a personal visit, so I don't want to get into the details of that. We're just counting down the days of him getting out. He's somebody that has been there for me over the years numerous times. I live in New York. It wouldn't have been right if I didn't go see him and check on his health and well-being. But the status of where that's at, that's his personal business."
Tyga
Tyga's been holding it down for YM during Wayne's absence. The California spitter has reportedly been to see Wayne. "It was crazy to see him in there in that type of situation, but he's doing good," Tyga told MTV. "He's holding his head up."
Drake
Drizzy paid his label head a visit only a few days after releasing his highly anticipated debut. "He kept looking to the window," Drake told MTV. "He'd look up at the window almost like he's looking right through it. It's frosted, so you can't see out. I was like, 'Why does he keep staring through the window? There's nothing out there.' To him, there's a whole world moving out there that he hasn't seen for so long."
Kanye West
Kanye may have opened up to Angie Martinez last week, but the MC didn't tell her about visiting Weezy.
Toya Carter
The mother of Wayne's oldest child, Reginae, Toya has been up to Rikers to visit Wayne several times since March. A month into Wayne's bid, US Weekly reported that Carter told them Wayne's job was monitoring other inmates on suicide watch. She promptly took to Twitter to deny the reports. "Good morning tweethearts…," she tweeted. "I’m angry this morning. Who told US weekly to say I told them Wayne have a job…I never said that to them…people r Crazy!”
Lauren London
LL and Wayne have a son together. The actress recently went up to Rikers to check up on Weezy.
