FANS of LADY GAGA are putting their sight at risk by wearing novelty contact lenses to copy the star's doe-eyed look.
The singer, 24, is thought to have used computer wizardry to make her pupils and irises look huge in hit video Bad Romance.
But extra-large Circle Contact Lenses give the same effect by covering part of the white of the eye.
One UK online supplier is now selling 5,000 pairs a MONTH.
Winfried Amoaku, of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, said: "Wearing lenses to make the pupil seem larger increases the risk of eye infections, corneal abrasion and even corneal ulcers."
