Rick Ross Speaks on Getting Love From Purists

Rick Ross' ear for good production is practically undisputable, but his lyrical skills have been questioned since he first burst onto the scene with his 2006 debut, "Port of Miami."

Four years later, former Ross skeptics and die-hard purists are slowly being converted into believers. Rozay recently downplayed his newfound props and urged all to flood stores when his fourth LP, "Teflon Don," hits stores next week.
"I mean, it’s all about putting out hot music," Ross told BET.com. "That’s the name of the game. Like, you wouldn’t be in the game. I just put out a dope mixtape, "Albert Anastasia." It’s certified platinum, but I saved the best for the album and that’s in stores July 20th. Got get it for real."
All eyes have been on Ross since he formed a partnership with Diddy this past April. To let him tell it, teaming up with Puff's given Ross opportunities he never fathomed.
"More money, bigger offers, more endorsements, a lot of things is going on," he shared regarding the edge Diddy's given him. "You know the natural things that come along with dealing with the biggest figure in hip-hop."
