appears that the drama between him and ex-wife Mashonda Dean is far from over. According to the New York Post, Dean recently took legal action against her ex-husband claiming he owes her $344,000 in back payments.
"I so much wanted both of us to get on with our lives and maintain our respect for one another, but he now shows that his priorities and sense of responsibility are screwed up," said Dean.
The "priorities" Dean refers to could easily be the 7-carat diamond ring the 'On to the Next One' producer purchased for his allegedly pregnant girlfriend Alicia Keys -- whom he plans to wed this summer -- along with the $14.5 million duplex the couple recently purchased on Crosby Street in New York City.
Swizz Beatz denies the claims that he has failed to support his ex-wife and child, Kasseem Jr., 3.
In fact, the producer claims he was willing to pay above and beyond what was required of him. "I gave over what the judge was recommending to give. I gave her $700,000 up front, because I thought $200,000 wasn't enough for what she wanted to do. I still get spit in my face for it," Beatz told the Post.
Swizz said it wasn't until he discovered that Dean was selling his personal belongings that he halted payments. The two parties are due in court next month.
