It seemed like they were splitting amicably and had decided to share joint custody over their daughter Nahla, but according to Radar Online there’s was bump in the road: “The latest issue is that Halle is due to move to South Africa during July, August and September to work on a movie and she wants to take Nahla with her full time. That would mean Gabriel not seeing his daughter for three whole months and there’s no way he’s going to allow that,” a source told the site.
Apparently Gabriel is “determined to be a regular, full-time fixture” in his daughters life and was consider his legal options to fight for permanent custody but the pair has found a temporary agreement. ”Basically Halle is going to pay Gabriel to be a kind of full-time nanny and to come to South Africa for the three months she’s there, and to be Nahla’s full-time caregiver,” Radar’s source continued. The source explained they’ll be living in the same rented house, but Berry plans to rent another for Aubry if that doesn’t work out.
They should certaintly try to avoid dragging their daughter through an ugly battle, but wait, why does Halle have to play sugar mama to her baby daddy? Doesn’t he make a cool $700,000 a year!?
