
The mid-Atlantic region – particularly the D.C. to Baltimore corridor -- was paralyzed by a blizzard that dumped more than two feet of heavy snow last weekend. Then Tuesday, several more inches were added to the first wallop in a second storm. A power outage affected more than 218,000 homes and businesses and a number of areas in the region recorded all-time high record snowfalls.
