Nas Sheds Light on Custody Battle With Kelis on New Track

Nas doesn’t say much, but when he does you better pay attention. Over the past several months, his divorce and custody battle with Kelis has been the topic of discussion. And while Kelis has addressed it in the media, God's Son has yet to really speak on the matter.

However, earlier today a new track titled "Strong Will Continue" from Nas’ joint LP, “Distant Relatives” featuring Damian Marley hit the net. On the track, Nas raps “How in the h*ll am I supposed to stay comfy/ When I pay child support, alimony monthly.” Nas is referring to the $52,000 monthly child support payment a NY judge ordered him to pay Kelis in December.

The Queensbridge lyricist also addressed issues of infidelity while with Kelis as welll. “So I've stuck with some married women so fine, cheating while their husband rushing on the 40-yard line/ Wonder if this is what my ex did the whole time."

“Distant Relatives” is slated to hit stores later this year.
