Wyclef Jean, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys Help Raise $61 Million During Hope For Haiti Telethon

Reports are surfacing that efforts from Hope for Haiti Now's superstar-studded roster has helped raise roughly $61 million.

According to Nielsen Media Research, "Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" drew an astonishing 83 million viewers. Early reports stated the telethon raised $57 million but a recent update confirmed $61 million as the final number.

The benefit concert featured performances from Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Beyonce and Wyclef Jean, while TV and movie stars handled the phones to receive donations.
