LEONA LEWIS is throwing herself into animal charity work to get over her split with long-term boyfriend LOU AL-CHAMAA.

The singer spent the weekend at a bear sanctuary in Romania with the World Society For The Protection Of Animals.
She said: "It's amazing. The bears are magnificent. After a life of abuse they are finally happy."
Leona visited Bucharest after completing her debut UK tour.
At home, she's trying to protect something else - her cash. Her ex Lou wants a £1.5million pay-off to recognise his part in her success.
She's spending far too much time worrying about bears with sore heads...
