1054904 P DIDDY would make the ultimate best man.

He'd arrange last-night-of-freedom female company, access to all the best clubs, then stick his hand in his pocket when the bill came.

But the hip-hop mogul still hasn't had a call up to RUSSELL BRAND's stag do - because the comic thinks he's a bad influence.

Russell's Get Him To The Greek co-star explained why he might have to miss the last wild night before Ol' Russ marries KATY PERRY.

He said: "I'm not his best man but if I get invited, I'll be there.

"I kind of get banned from stuff like that before the wedding. The wives always say 'stay away from Puffy'."

It's a tricky one for Russell. He doesn't drink, smoke, take drugs or play away from home.

So the West Ham fan's ideal stag do could be a yoga masterclass with Hammers legend FRANK McAVENNIE in the Upton Park centre circle.

I'm not sure Diddy would fancy that. I met the rap veteran at The Mayfair Hotel in London to talk about his new band DIDDY-DIRTY MONEY.

It's Diddy with DAWN RICHARD, of American girl band DANITY KANE, and singer KALENNA, making up the line-up.

Their album Last Train To Paris features collaborations with LIL WAYNE, JAY Z, DRAKE, TINIE TEMPAH and TINCHY STRYDER.

Diddy told me the album was about a new genre called "train music" and had a "love concept".

Not to be confused with the concept of making love like a train.

Diddy also offered his thoughts on the USA's chances against England at the World Cup.

He said: "With RIO FERDINAND out the US stands a better chance than ever.

"I saw DAVID BECKHAM a couple of weeks ago. WAYNE ROONEY owes me a visit.

"Would I fly them to a Diddy-Dirty Money gig? They got money, they can get there on their own."

I couldn't let him go without asking what happened to his bid for Cristal Palace, as I dubbed them.

He said: "I found out it's best I didn't buy it."

No, stick your money into West Ham. That would be the best wedding gift Russ could dream of.
