Threat ... to Michael Jackson
A MAN threatened to kill MICHAEL JACKSON and thousands of his fans if he was not given half the star's fortune, FBI files have revealed.
Frank Paul Jones, who had become obsessed with Michael's sister Janet, sent a number of disturbing letters.
In one he wrote: "Half of Michael's estate is mine... if he doesn't pay I'm going after him."
He then warned: "I'll commit mass murder at a Michael Jackson concert if necessary, in an attempt to murder Michael, then you will have to deal with my situation in the public eye."
When there was no response to his threats, Jones instead warned he would target President GEORGE BUSH SENIOR.
He wrote: "I decided that because nobody is taking me serious that I am going to Washington to threaten to kill the President of the United States."
Jones was arrested outside the White House and later jailed.
Chandler case
Other FBI files released yesterday show how Jacko was investigated by agents after The Sun revealed he had made an obscene phone call to a British schoolboy.
The lad, 13 at the time, said the star told him he was fondling himself.
The documents show agents also travelled to the Philippines to interview two former members of staff at Jacko's Neverland ranch.
They were thought to have witnessed the star, who died aged 50 in June, molesting boys there.
The file on Jackson went on to form part of the child abuse inquiry into the allegations he molested JORDY CHANDLER, 13.
Jordy's family was later given a reported £12million settlement.
