Ancelotti:I satnd by skipper JT

SMILES BETTER ... skipper John Terry celebrates Chelsea's goal in their draw with West Ham

CARLO ANCELOTTI last night backed under-fire skipper John Terry insisting: He's done nothing wrong.

The England captain was yesterday accused of helping a ticket tout earn cash for unofficial tours of Chelsea's training ground.

It did not make for great preparation as the Blues missed the chance to go six points clear of Manchester United at the top of the Premier League following a lacklustre 1-1 draw at West Ham.

But Chelsea boss Ancelotti sprang to JT's defence and said: "It is not correct. This is not true.

"I think the club, me, the players, have a lot of confidence in John Terry. John Terry did nothing wrong.

"I am not upset and neither is JT. He was very calm before the game. No problem. He told me he has done nothing wrong and I accept that."

Ancelotti is also refusing to lose faith in his team despite just one win in four league games.

He added: "Today is not a big problem to know if it's one point gained or two lost.

"What happened in the first half was not good. The second half was better but we met a tough team who played with strong pressure on midfield.

"It's not so bad. We have one point more at the top and we can have a good Christmas."

West Ham boss and Blues legend Gianfranco Zola said: "I don't think Chelsea are in the best moment right now but they are not the only ones.

"Chelsea have what it takes to win the title."
