Wyclef Hands Out Free Money in NYC

Wyclef Jean’s in a generous mood. The self-proclaimed “Haitian sensation” is set to give away money at the grand opening of Best Buy Union Square in New York City tomorrow (November 17).


Clef will hand out 100 Western Union $50 gift cards to the first 100 people present at the performance. In related news, he is also set to perform “Slumdog Millionaire” with Cyndi Lauper on David Letterman tonight (November 16).

Clef is performing in support of his recent project, DJ Drama Presents Wyclef Jean AKA Toussaint St Jean From The Hut To The Projects To The Mansion. The CD features appearances from Timbaland, Eve, Maino, Cyndi Lauper, Lil’ Kim and many others.

Wyclef’s performance is scheduled to perform at Best Buy Union Square Tuesday, November 17 at 6PM.
