WHETHER he realises or not, DAVID BECKHAM has become the latest star to back tone-deaf X Factor contenders JOHN & EDWARD.

The footie ace gave his severe new barnet its debut airing at the weekend, prompting LA Galaxy spectators to comment on its near-identical likeness to the twins' towering locks.

One British fan told The Sun: "I was at the LA Galaxy game and it's clear that David Beckham's new haircut was inspired by Jedward.

"It's way too similar for it not to be. "He must be a fan of the boys."


Becks played a pivotal role in LA Galaxy's 2-0 extra-time win against Houston in the MLS Cup semi-final - and celebrated by watching his beloved LA Lakers in action.


Jedward put in an equally solid performance on the X Factor, escaping the bottom two after their flawed-but-entertaining mash-up of QUEEN's Under Pressure and VANILLA ICE's Ice Ice Baby.

Meanwhile, Becks has revealed he wants to give his sons a "normal" life - so he's making his family's move to superficial Los Angeles permanent.


He said: "LA is amazing for what VICTORIA and I want, for our children to have the most normal upbringing."

'Normal' isn't a word often used to describe LA.
