UNBELEAFABLE! This tree is groaning under the weight of NINE hungry goats.

The adventurous animals had climbed the Moroccan Argan tree to tuck into its leaves and olive-like fruit.
One even made it to the very top of the 17ft plant.
The animals — better known for navigating mountain ranges — head into trees when food is hard to come by.
Photographer Gavin Oliver was driving through Morocco when he spotted the scene by the side of the road.
The 38-year-old snapper, from Sydney, Australia, said: "There were about 30 goats, with the ones in the tree already in place when we were driving past.
"The tree branches were bobbing up and down under the weight of the goats every time they moved."
"The herd of goats were being looked after by a young teenage shepherd, who you can just make out behind the tree."

She said: "It's been going for 100 days or so and it's really still ongoing and a huge amount still has to happen with hundreds of children still malnourished at the moment.

A PIECE of music history is being re-written as Sarm Studios goes through a multi-million pound makeover.

The building will be unrecognisable once the five studios are reconstructed into two which will be state-of-the-art.
The property in Notting Hill, west London, has been used over the years by the likes of Take That, Blur and Bob Marley.
Owner, producer Trevor Horn, plans to build the new studios using money from redeveloping part of the building into mews houses and apartments, including the church that housed the organ used by George Michael on his song Faith.
Reggae legend Bob lived in an upstairs flat at the studios for a year in the Seventies, at the same time that the Rolling Stones were recording there.
Queen laid down We Are The Champions on site too, and The Clash, Iron Maiden and Led Zeppelin also made some of their best music at Sarm.

It's a common assumption that pregnant women are going to develop some strange cravings (i.e. pickles and ice cream). While it may seem gross to those of us not growing a human being inside of them, I can see how these odd combinations can happen -- the baby wants one thing and you're craving another, so why not put the two together? But it looks like Beyonce's baby is following in its mother's diva footsteps and taking it a level above all the rest. Thanks to a source aboard the $400,000-a-week yacht Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z rented to cruise the Mediterranean, we now know exactly what the pregnant singer is craving these days -- and it's a pretty strange assortment.

According to what the source told The Sun, Beyonce is"snacking on Oreo biscuits and gherkins, Bounty ice creams with hot chilli sauce and she loves dipping bananas in ketchup. For breakfast, she's been having croissants with melted Dime bars inside." Talk about the "Best Thing I Never Had" -- that doesn't sound edible, let alone appetizing in any way. But whatever a diva wants, a diva gets. At least that's Jay-Z's philosophy since he's set on getting her everything she wants to ensure a happy pregnancy. Whitney Houston May Appear In 'Sparkle' Remake

The R&B icon may produce 1976 film remake.

The Preacher's Wife star may be making a come back. News has surfaced that Whitney Houston is in talks to star in Sparkle, a Sony Pictures remake of the 1976 music-themed drama. "American Idol" winner Jordin Sparks and actor Mike Epps also are set to participate in the redux, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"The Game" executive producer Mara Brock Akil wrote the new script while her husband Salim Akil, who cut his teeth directing episodes of "The Game" and Brock Akil's first hit show "Girlfriends" will serve as director. Producers include Debra Martin Chase, TD Jakes, the Akils and Curtis Wallace.

Sparkle, loosely based on Diana Ross and the Supremes, follows three sisters and their struggle out of the 1950s Harlem ghetto and into the spotlight. The original Sparkle star was played by Irene Cara alongside Lonette McKee and Mary Alice, who played her sister and mother, respectively. Tony King played the evil local hoodlum Satin that ultimately kills McKee's character.

In the new version of Sparkle, Sparks will play the timid lead character and Houston will play her mother. Epps will reprise Satin, but instead of a local hood, he'll play a stand-up comedian who marries one of Sparkle's sisters and hooks her on drugs.

As for Ms. Houston, this role will be her first since she last twirled around the silver screen in 1996 for The Preacher's Wife co-starring Denzel Washington and Courtney Vance. The R&B icon was originally involved with Sparkle as a producer when the project made the rounds around Hollywood via Warner years ago with the late Aaliyah as the lead. Houston will retain her producer credit in the 2011 project.

Beyoncé’s baby bump show-stopper at this year’s MTV’s Video Music Awards might be her biggest on-screen closeup for awhile. It appears that her recent expectancy news has put a pregnant pause on her acting career.

The hardest-working mommy-to-be in the game was all set to star in director Clint Eastwood’s remake of A Star Is Born, which was to begin shooting in February 2012. But with Beyoncé "in the family way," industry insiders are saying the project will most likely be postponed, according to Deadline.

The delay will give Warner Brothers studios more time to find a suitable leading man that can lend big screen star power to the project. Names that have been floating in the pool of co-star possibilities include Leonardo DiCaprio, Will Smith, Robert Downey Jr. and Russell Crowe.

This planned remake will be the fourth take on A Star Is Born — the tale of a fading male star that gets eclipsed by the fame of his rising starlet lover — since the 1930s. The most recent incarnation of this popular story, which starred Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson, was released in 1976.

Marc Anthony Gives First Interview After Split

Two months after he and Jennifer Lopez announced their separation, Marc Anthony is giving the first post-split interview to ABC News.

Up until now, the couple has been exceptionally tight-lipped on the break-up. Though there have been reports of Anthony harassing J.Lo — calling her non-stop — in an effort to keep her from going through with the divorce.

In an exclusive interview with John Quinones, which airs tonight, Anthony will answer questions like, “Did you want this divorce?” A segment of the chat aired on Good Morning America, which will be followed by the full interview airing this evening on Nightline.

Viewers are given one of the juiciest lines from the discussion, as Anthony reveals: “I'll always love Jennifer.” Check out the video above.

Meanwhile, J.Lo is planning a return to her judging duties on America Idol this fall. And Anthony will continue his day gig, being a regular on TNT's HawthoRNe.

TMZ is reporting that a "mystery buyer" reached out to Vivid Entertainment, the porn company that distributed the Kim Kardashian and Ray J sex tape, with the hopes of purchasing the rights to the tape to make it disappear forever. A spokesman for Vivid Entertainment said a $30 million price tag would mostly likely be the starting bid.

Ray J says he “absolutely” wants the tape off the market but whoever is behind the purchase should be ready to pay up. He told TMZ, “They better come up with something right…let’s get it over with!”

No word yet if the unnamed buyer is Kim, her new hubby Kris Humphries or someone else in the Kardashian clan.

KIM Kardashian's husband had an awkward encounter on a flight this week when he came face-to-face with the fella who starred in a sordid sex tape with his new wife.

Singer Ray J was filmed romping with the socialite in the X-rated internet clip, which has been viewed millions of times.
And while travelling from Los Angeles to New Orleans on Sunday Kris reportedly met Kim's ex for the first time.
Basketball star Kris was already on board the flight when Ray joined it during a stop in Minneapolis.
Kris sat in an aisle seat on the Delta Airways flight across from the singer in first class.
A few minutes after Ray took his seat, Kris moved to a seat in front of the R'n'B singer.
And moments later, Ray is said to have walked up to Humphries' seat to congratulate him on his recent marriage to his ex.

AY-Z went from hustling drugs on street corners to the corner office of his business empire that's now worth an incredible half a BILLION dollars.

The world's most successful rapper has had 11 No1 albums in the US charts, won 13 Grammys and is married to pop megastar Beyonce.

Only seven chief executives make more than him in a year. Last year his £38million earnings even topped that of the boss of Starbucks.

That fortune was simply from selling 50million albums.

Over the years he has launched 9IX cologne, Rocawear clothes and Reebok S.Carter trainers.

He also has a share in the New Jersey Nets basketball team, The Spotted Pig restaurant in Manhattan's West Village, a female beauty products brand and the 40/40 Club chain.

And according to a new unauthorised biography the 41-year-old star has an obsession with money that stems from his insecurity with girls.

Jonathan "Jaz-O" Burks, who knew the star when he was a teenager, said: "He felt he needed money because he didn't feel like he was the most attractive guy to girls. I think he had a serious complex about his features."

In his lyrics Jay-Z often boasted of bedding lots of women, but that didn't stop Methodist churchgoer Beyonce from marrying him in 2008.

His friend Chenise Wilson believes Jay-Z actually cares for women and that his raps are just bravado.

Chenise said: "There were girls around, but that wasn't his thing, being in girls' faces.

"He had his share but he wasn't the kind of guy with a whole lot of girls. Jay is a very particular guy."

The revelations come in the book Empire State Of Mind, by Zack O'Malley Greenburg, who writes for Forbes magazine.

Jay-Z was born Shawn Corey Carter and grew up in a tough housing project in Brooklyn, New York.

Record producer Jaz-O gave Jay-Z some of his earliest breaks in the music industry. But as his protege became more famous, his interest in his old friend waned. Jaz-O says: "His loyalty is to his money."

DJ Clark Kent, who first spotted Jay-Z's talents as a 15-year-old with the nickname Jazzy, added: "I think it's unfair to call Jay-Z a rapper.

"He is a business, and rapping is just something that's in his business."

That ethic can be traced back to when he was still known as Shawn.

Kent said: "When you grow up in the hood, fast money is all you can think of because of the pressure.

"You're in a building of 500 people. You do whatever you can to get out."

Jay-Z started off doing very well at school. But when his father Adnis Reeves abandoned his family in 1980 his ten-year-old son took it badly. He never graduated from school and was instead educated on the street.

His friend DeHaven Irby got him into selling cocaine at the age of 18.

Even back then it was all about dollars for Jay-Z, who broadened their patch to Maryland and Virginia, where there was less competition.

DeHaven said: "Customers knew he was about business. If the product was ten dollars, you couldn't get it for nine dollars. A lot of people thought of him as being stingy."

At the age of 17 he even shot his older brother in the shoulder because he had stolen one of his rings.

Despite being a talented rapper Jay-Z was reluctant to do it full-time because dealing was more profitable. His attitude changed in 1994 when another gangster shot at him. DeHaven said: "He saw the bad side of the game. He almost had his life taken. That's what did it."

Later that year Jay-Z met wealthy impresario Damon Dash, who helped him record his first album Reasonable Doubt. It was rejected by all the major labels. Undeterred, the two men put together their own label, Roc-A-Fella Records, and sold the album out of the back of their cars.

It went platinum. Afterwards he was able to strike a deal whereby he earned twice as much as most artists from his album sales.

By December 1999 Jay-Z was a hip-hop star. But his old ways reared up again in an ugly manner.

He stabbed his former friend Lance Rivera in the stomach, allegedly because he thought Rivera was bootlegging one of his albums.

The star was fortunate to get away with three years probation. From then on he did not trouble the law again.

In 1999 Jay-Z and Dash launched the Rocawear clothing line because they were tired of boosting sales of other clothes lines by wearing them.

Everything was cross-marketed.When Reebok released the S.Carter trainers in 2003 snippets of tracks from Jay-Z's new Black Album were included on a CD in the shoe box.

Dash is credited by many with being the original business brains behind much of Jay-Z's early success.

But in 2004 they parted because they could not agree on a deal. Dash, 40, was surprised to see how the once trainer-loving street star now dressed liked a serious city man.

He said: "We were two different people. He was not the same person I had met. I would never expect him to wear a trench coat and shoes."

In January 2005 Jay-Z took over as president of the once legendary Def Jam record label, which at that time was fading. Again he was a success.

One of his first signings was Rihanna.

Some of Jay-Z's investments are made with the heart. He is a huge basketball fan, so buying a share of the New Jersey Nets combined a personal passion with wealth creation.

Jay-Z has also given something back by setting up the Shawn Carter Scholarship to help underprivileged kids and by getting behind a project to improve water quality in Africa.

And Def Jam Records founder Russell Simmons believes that Jay-Z has done a lot for music.

He said: "Without Jay-Z, hip hop wouldn't be where it is today."

Jay-Z has now left Def Jam and has his own music publishing and entertainment company, Roc Nation.

But some former friends still believe the rapper's desire for wealth has become all-consuming.

Jaz-O concluded "Some people have the wherewithal to put things in proper perspective and some people become maniacal.

"I think in his case, to an extent, he became maniacal."

A potential pay raise for Jennifer Lopez has at least one of her fellow American Idol judges looking for his own salary increase.

According to the New York Post, J.Lo is negotiating a new deal for her return to Idol next season that is said to be worth up to $20 million. Sources said when word of Lopez’s deal was leaked to the other judges, they became restless, particularly Steven Tyler. The frontman for the rock group Aerosmith is already locked under a two-year contract worth $10 million a year.

"Steven is halfway through a two-year deal,” explained one source, “and his management has asked for more money. They argue he was just as sensational and as popular on the panel as Jennifer. But, on the other side, show bosses argue he's tied into a deal and has to stick to it. However, it's hoped they can come to a compromise to keep Steven happy, because the producers love him.”

Another source said that while J.Lo’s money deal has been agreed upon, the final negotiations center on scheduling her Idol appearances around her other television and movie commitments.

"Talks are ongoing—she has nothing to announce as yet," said Lopez’s spokesman. He gave no comment on Tyler and Randy Jackson. Tyler’s rep also declined to comment, as did Fox. Jackson’s rep gave no statement either.

The Wire’s Felicia Pearson has pleaded guilty to real life drug charges. The actress gained fame for her portrayal of a drug dealer’s assassin in HBO's Baltimore-based crime drama, but made real-life headlines recently for her alleged role in pushing heroin.

Upon news of her arrest, the show’s creator, David Simon, wrote a piece defending Pearson and touched on the lack of available options for actresses like her. However, now that she’s cut a deal that will keep her out of prison, perhaps Simon can develop a role for her in the near future.

Pearson’s attorneys made the deal the day before her trial was to begin. She will plead guilty to conspiracy to distribute heroin and in exchange will receive credit for time served and a suspended seven-year sentence. Pearson will be under probation for three years, but during that period she will be allowed to leave the state of Maryland on a provisional basis for work.

"I would have been found not guilty," the actress said of her deal. Her lawyer quickly interjected and began to field reporters' questions on his clients’ behalf. The 31-year-old did make one additional statement, though. When asked how she'll avoid legal trouble in the future, she replied, "I'm moving to L.A."

The rapper-turned-businessman, who made a buck from his share of sports drink company Vitamin Water, is launching an energy shot called "Street King." But while profits from Vitamin Water went towards Fif's mansion, cars and…other stuff, the proceeds from Street King will benefit a more noble cause: providing meals for one billion underprivileged children.

“It’s our mission with Street King to really change children’s lives around the world,” he said in a statement.

Speaking for the first time to The Sun, Monika Konczyk, 32, said she came to London to seek a better life - but was nearly killed by thugs in a nightmare riot blaze.
The hard-working Polish mum said she expected a "wonderful" fresh start when she arrived here five months ago.
Instead she found herself at the mercy of rampaging arsonists and looters as mayhem swept across London on Monday.
The image of Monika leaping from her flat against a backdrop of flames filled The Sun's Page One - and was beamed round the world to Britain's shame.
Poundland shop assistant Monika said: "I came to England because I thought it is a great country full of kind and gentle people.
"I thought London was a civilised society full of gentlemen and ladies - but it is not like that. England has become a sick society.
"I found myself jumping for my life after being attacked by thugs and thieves. They set fire to my building without any thought for anyone's safety.
"They were happy for me to die. They were like animals - greedy, selfish animals who thought only of themselves."
Desperate Monika had screamed "I'm going to die here" as a wall of flame and red-hot cinders swept ever closer to her flat in Croydon, South London.

Her terrifying 45-minute ordeal ended only when she jumped from her first-floor window into the arms of riot cops 16ft below.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Monika said of the rioters: "I am shocked to find people behaving like this in England.
"It is not what I expected of the English. I have never seen anything like this in Poland.
"Polish people are hard-working and respectable. They believe in working for a living, not stealing from others.
"If you want nice clothes or a new TV, you don't smash shop windows and loot them - you work to pay for them.
"My life in Poland was very hard, I worked very long hours for very little money.
"We are making sacrifices to come here so we can support ourselves and our families.
"My friends all told me what a wonderful country this is. I hope I can recover from this and go on to have a happy time here."
Monika became trapped in her rented flat above a shop just 15 yards from the 140-year-old Reeves furniture store that was blazing unchecked.
Fearing her own building was about to be engulfed, she called her sister Beata Bozenkow, who lives ten minutes away. Beata, 37, told her to flee.
Monika, who moved in just three weeks ago, frantically packed a bag.
But her flat had only a door to the rear of the building - and that exit was blocked by flames.

Monika said: "I tried to escape but it was like facing a wall of flame. Big red cinders were falling on my head and the wind was pushing the fire at me.
"Flames were coming up over my head. The fire was so hot I knew if I got too close it would kill me. I thought I was going to die - I thought I had lost my life."
She retreated back into her flat, which was rapidly filling with thick black smoke.

Monika said: "I was shaking so badly I could not open the window. But once I managed it I did not hesitate. I thought I was going to die in there. I did not care if I broke my legs and my arms on the ground. I saw a policeman with his arms outstretched and I just jumped and he caught me.
"Then they told us all to run away as fast as we could.
"Now when I see the picture of me jumping I feel very lucky to have my life. I never hoped to be famous, I just wanted to escape."
Monika, originally from the small Polish city of Koronowo, had been watching TV on a day off when terror came to her street.
It was the third day of the London riots but she had no idea Croydon was to be the flashpoint.
Monika said: "I was warned at 4.30pm that there was trouble but didn't give it another thought.
"Two hours later I heard shouting and the sound of broken glass. I started getting nervous. I looked out and saw a young boy with his hood up running down the street with a huge plasma TV."
More than 50 looters were smashing windows ever closer to Monika's home and a bus was torched. Monika, who ventured out to see what was happening, said: "I saw boys smash the windows of the furniture store and struggle to steal sofas. At the back of the store I saw a boy start a small fire on a bed.
"I was becoming very fearful so I went back into my flat. I thought it was best to stay inside where it was safe." But she was soon in mortal danger as the store was engulfed by fire.

Monika said: "I came here for a new start. I never thought this could happen. It is the first time I have ever seen anything like this. These people are so stupid, it is terrible. I could have died, and for what?

"I am so grateful to the police and my family for saving me."
Monika arrived in Britain on March 18 after a 23-hour bus trip.
It was an escape from the drudgery of Poland where she made £200 a month working 12 hours a day, seven days a week as a convenience store supervisor.

Mark Duggan's late uncle was gangland boss Desmond "Dessie" Noonan, whose feared crime family have run Manchester's underworld for 20 years.
The Sun can also reveal that another of Duggan's relatives was arrested in connection with rioting and looting in the city on Tuesday.
The links emerged yesterday as a police union rep said that the officer who opened fire on Duggan had "an honest-held belief that he was in imminent danger of him and his colleagues being shot".

In it, Dessie suggested his family were "untouchables". He bragged: "I've got a bigger army than the police. We have more guns than the police."

Duggan, 29, regularly visited his uncle and Julie - who he married in 1985 - to babysit their children.
The pair divorced following Dessie's 1993 acquittal for the murder of gangster Anthony "White Tony" Johnson two years earlier. But Duggan continued to visit Desmond and Domenyk for barbecues and family parties.
A source said: "They took Mark under their wing, they liked him, not just as a nephew, but as a mate.
"When he came to Manchester he'd see them, and if they went to London they'd have a night with him."
In 1995, 6ft 20-stone Dessie was described as a "psycho" in court for a violent attack on twin brothers and was jailed for 33 months.

Earlier he was caught on camera chatting to a hoodie-wearing youth with a looted flat-screen TV.
Greater Manchester Police later confirmed that Domenyk had been charged with handling stolen goods and possession of cannabis. Hundreds of "Noonan Boys" - youngsters allied to the crime boss - were allegedly among city centre rioters.
The source added: "Domenyk made sure there was a big crowd of them rioting last night."
Domenyk has more than 40 convictions for offences including armed robbery, police assault, attacks on prison officers, deception, firearms, jail escape and fraud, and has spent 22 years behind bars.

He is suspected of being involved in several murders but has never been charged. He is on licence from jail following a conviction for possessing a gun. The Independent Police Complaints Commission is probing Mark Duggan's death.
Mark Williams, the Met Police Federation rep for firearms unit C019, said its officers are "mortified" that Duggan's family might think there is "some sort of conspiracy" because of the way information has been drip-fed from the IPCC.
He said firearms officers involved always assumed a bullet found lodged in an officer's radio was one of theirs because of their positions.
A police source said at no point did cops say Duggan opened fire. The IPCC investigation could take six months.

AN Olympics ambassador alleged to have hurled bricks at a police car was handed into cops by her mum.

Chelsea Ives, 18, also led an attack on a mobile phone shop during Sunday's riots, Westminster Magistrates' Court has heard.
She was allegedly filmed by the BBC throwing bricks at a cop car during the disturbances in Enfield, North London.
Her mum Adrienne, 47, spotted her on the news and immediately called the police, the court was told.
Ives, described as a "talented sportswoman" by her lawyer, is said to have boasted she had "the best day ever", magistrates heard.
Prosecutor Becky Owen said today that Ives had led an attack on a Vodafone store.
She said: "She was first to pick up masonry and hurl it at the window."
She also said Ives was involved in another mob attack on Phones4U.

New Jersey businesswoman claims the talk-show maven stole the phrase and its "live your best life" philosophy.

More money, more problems? Oprah Winfrey, who already has her hands full trying to rescue her struggling OWN network, is now being sued for trademark infringement.

According to Entertainment Weekly, court papers were filed Thursday (July 28) accusing the media mogul and her company, Harpo Productions, of stealing the motto “Own Your Power.” In the suit, filed in a New Jersey federal court, Simone Kelly-Brown, CEO of Own Your Power Communications Inc., claims her own company created the phrase and its underlying philosophy that people can “live their best life” if they believe that “anything you want in life is attainable.”

The suit says that the infringement started with the October 2010 issue of Oprah’s O magazine, which included the headline “Own Your Power,” and then continued when the mag began directing readers to a section of its website, also called Own Your Power. Kelly-Brown alleges that things really came to a head when her company and Oprah threw Own Your Power events in the same city just days apart.

The suit seeks unspecified damages for Winfrey and Harpo’s “brazenly unlawful disregard for the existence and use of [Own Your Power's] trademark,” claiming it has “irreparably harmed” the company.

Harpo sent a statement to EW in response to news of the suit, saying, "Harpo has not been served and we have no information about what allegations are being made."

A judge sides with J.Lo to block a release by her ex-husband

While Jennifer Lopez works on separating herself from her current husband Marc Anthony, her first husband Ojani Noa has been ordered by a California judge to seek arbitration for a personal home video he wants to release of the superstar, rather than taking it to a public court, Access Hollywood reports.

Ever since the two split, Lopez (42) and Noa, whom she married in 1997 for eleven months only, have been in constant beef over his desire to tell his own Jennifer Lopez story.

She first sued him in 2006 when he tried to publish a tell-all about their marriage, winning over $500,000 in compensatory damages and again in 2009 for $10 million when he attempted to release a film called “How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story."

Although both parties agree the videos do not show the “American Idol” judge in sexually comprising scenes, the mother of two is determined to have her ex uphold a settlement agreement prohibiting him from “disclosing for monetary gain any private or intimate details about Lopez or Noa’s relationship with Lopez.”

Not going down without a fight, Access Hollywood says Noa plans to appeal to California’s Supreme Court.

Bob Marley Documentary Still On the Way

Director confirms film about singer is near completion.

Filmmaker Kevin MacDonald confirmed in a recent interview that his long awaited Bob Marley documentary is near completion. MacDonald told Indie Wire, “I’ve got the Bob Marley film, which I should be finishing up the edit of today. And then the plan is to take it to Toronto.”

MacDonald is referring to the Toronto International Film Festival. While it’s not an official addition yet, The Last King of Scotland director plans to make it one soon. McDonald acknowledges, “Yes, it’s a project with a long history.”

He added, “My involvement with Marley goes back to around the time I was making Last King of Scotland. I was talking to Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records, about making a documentary that was tangentially about Marley taking a bunch of rastas on a plane from Jamaica to Ethiopia to the concert—to celebrate what would have been Bob’s 60th birthday. And for various reasons that fell apart, but I stayed in touch with the Marley world.”

MacDonald says he noticed Marley’s influence even during the filming of Last King of Scotland in Uganda. Eventually a producer on the documentary contacted him last year to helm the project. Instead of continuing the director’s other work, MacDonald started over, which he called a “great experience.” He said, “It looks like we’ll get our first taste in Toronto and with Marley touching upon music, politics and culture in a way that very few artists ever do, it should be a fascinating portrait of a man whose influence clearly resonates.”

Kobe Bryant Seems to Favor Playing in China

Potential deal with Turkish team Besiktas is said to have “zero percent” chance of happening after weeks of speculation.

One thing seems for certain: Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant wants to play basketball this upcoming season.

What isn’t as clear is where and for whom.

It’s almost a foregone conclusion that the NBA season won’t start on time due to the owner-imposed lockout, so Bryant, like several other NBA players, is looking for a temporary home overseas while the NBA and its players work out the labor strife.

"I'm just waiting for my phone to ring. Here it is," said Bryant, who playfully sat his cell phone on the interview table during a press conference over Sunday in Washington, D.C. "I will play anywhere."

For weeks now, anywhere has seemed like Turkey, where the club team Besiktas has been talking like a deal was imminent. But Yahoo! Sports is reporting that teams in China may be a better option. Sources are saying that the chances of Bryant playing for the Turkish team that also signed Deron Williams is “zero percent.”

Apparently, Bryant hasn’t spoken with the Turkish team in weeks despite reports the two sides were suppose to meet in Washington, D.C., this past weekend. Bryant confirmed as much during his press conference.

“I haven't spoken to Besiktas in weeks," Bryant said while attending two soccer events sponsored by the Turkish airline he represents in the nation’s capitol over the weekend.

Bryant is said to be seeking about $1.5 million per month to play overseas. Besiktas has been up front it can’t afford that payment but there seemed hope that Turkish Airlines would kick in part of Bryant’s salary.

Bryant, however, seems open to other overseas options. He grew up overseas while his father played basketball so the idea of being away from America isn’t as daunting for Bryant as it might be for some others.

Last night the House of Representatives voted 269 to 161 for the move and sent it to the Senate for final congressional approval today.

The cuts are likely to be tougher than those by the Coalition here.

President Barack Obama apologised that the deal talks had been "messy and taken too long".

He performed a medley of his hits and was joined on stage by Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes for their track Look At Me Now, which won Best Collaboration.

Brown returned to the stage to join Big Sean on his song, My Last.
And he ended the show on a bicycle as host Kevin Hart, on a Segway, presented him with the Fandemonium award and the Viewers' Choice prize.

And the female star paid tribute to the rapper and producer who discovered her who was in prison when she won last year's prize.

Banned ... Lady GaGa's Born This Way

LADY GAGA hasn't managed to please everyone with her album Born This Way.

The CD may be at No1 in 21 countries including the UK but it has no chance of topping the charts in Lebanon.

It has been banned in the Middle East country after being deemed "offensive to Christianity".

A shipment of the album arrived there this week but was immediately impounded by authorities in the General Security department on grounds of taste.

GaGa has come in for some serious stick from religious groups in the US for the track Judas and in April the single was taken off radio stations in Lebanon.

It's lucky the New Yorker has no live shows booked there at the moment - I don't think that the crucifix on her leather undercrackers would go down very well at all.

That said, she's in her own force field in some of her outfits anyway...

Rihanna is speaking out against critics who have blasted her for the controversial video to her latest single "Man Down." The pop singer took to Twitter earlier today to respond to the backlash she's been dealing with since the video premiered on 106 & Park this week. The video is about a young woman who seeks revenge against a man who raped her. It ends with a murder scene.

"I’m a 23 year old rockstar with NO KIDS! What’s up with everybody wantin me to be a parent? I’m just a girl, I can only be your/our voice! Cuz we all know how difficult/embarrassing it is to communicate touchy subject matters to anyone especially our parents! And this is why! Cuz we turn the other cheek! The new dad says leaving his wife and newborns for work is very tough.

Nick and Mariah's twins have finally been released from the hospital and are now settled into their lavish nursery at home with their parents. But the new dad has found it surprisingly difficult to leave behind the family when job duties beckon.

“My twins came home [today],” Nick told "Access Hollywood" at the KIIS FM Wango Tango concert in Los Angeles Saturday night where he acted as DJ. “I didn’t even want to leave, but I had to because I’ve got to be here."

“This was very tough,” he continued. “I didn’t know it was going to be this tough to leave home every time! Like, I left the hospital to go to New York to [do promotion] earlier in the week — that was tough. And then this was tough too! But, I’m dealing with it.”

And when the 30-year-old comedian/radio personality is home, he's busy getting used to his new role and enjoying every bit of it.

“It’s a whole other level now because they’re at home,” he said. “There’s no hospital rooms, and there’s no nurses, it’s just us. So, it’s real. It’s a lil’ scary at times, but we’re handling it.”

"This amount is a drop in the ocean for these stars."

Pitt, 47, and Jolie, 35, are currently in France for the Cannes Film Festival.

The former California Governor made the surprise announcement four months after he left office after serving two terms in charge of the US state.
In a joint statement the Austrian born Hollywood legend and Shriver said they are separating "while we work on the future of our relationship".
The pair continued: "This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us.

In an interview for Sunday’s upcoming episode of “60 Minutes,” President Obama said that he has decided against releasing photos confirming Osama bin Laden’s death. “The risks of release outweigh the benefits,” he said.

As Obama knows from personal experience, people believe what they want to, and conspiracy theorists and others would claim the photos had been doctored. Perhaps more important, releasing the gruesome evidence would ignite outrage among many in the Middle East.

There has been a good deal of debate in the past two days over whether the White House should release images of bin Laden’s bloodied corpse. On Tuesday, CIA director Leon Panetta said there was no question that “ultimately a photograph would be presented to the public.” But other senior administration officials and lawmakers objected to the idea, warning that such a move could put American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq at greater risk than they already are.

“Imagine how the American people would react if Al Qaeda killed one of our troops or military leaders, and put photos of the body on the internet,” said the President. “Osama bin Laden is not a trophy--he is dead and let’s now focus on continuing the fight until Al Qaeda has been eliminated.”

Yemeni-born Amal told investigators that they lived in the nearby village of Chak Shah Mohammad. An ISI official said: "She said they were there for nearly 2½ years before moving to Abbottabad at the end of 2005."
Cops yesterday searched caves in the village for signs Bin Laden used them - as locals told of "mysterious foreigners" in the area in 2004. Farmer Mohammad Younas, 55, said: "They asked me if there was any land for sale."

A Muslim seaman aboard the Carl Vinson helped and made sure the body was wrapped properly. An officer then read religious remarks which were translated into Arabic by the Muslim sailor.
The body was put in a weighted bag and placed on a flat board. It was then tipped up - and the monster who had brought death and misery to the world slid into the sea and disappeared beneath the waves forever.

Officials said the funeral process took 50 minutes.
A US defence spokesman said: "Preparations for an at-sea burial began at 1.10am EST (6.10am) and were completed at 2am. Traditional procedures for Islamic burial were followed."
A White House official confirmed the body was handled "in accordance with Islamic practice". He added: "This is something that we take very seriously."
But some Muslim clerics argued Bin Laden's sea burial violated Islamic tradition and will cause anger.

And Iraqi-based Abdul-Sattar al-Janabi, from Baghdad's Abu Hanifa mosque, said: "It is almost a crime to throw the body of a Muslim man into the sea. The body of Bin Laden should have been handed to his family."
Bin Laden's sister-in-law Carmen Binladin, 57, who was married to his older brother Yeslam, 60, said his Saudi family will have received news of his death with "great sadness".
But she said Bin Laden - seen by the world for the last time in an al-Qaeda video in 2007 - would have wanted to die "rather than face a US court".

STOCK markets around the world rallied on news of Bin Laden's death, which also triggered a three per cent fall in oil prices at one stage.

Asked if the plan had always been to kill the al-Qaeda boss, Mr Brennan said US forces had been prepared "for all contingencies".
He said: "He was engaged and killed in the process. Had we had the opportunity to take him alive, we'd have done that.

"It was very tense. When we were informed the individuals in that compound had found an individual they believed was Bin Laden there was a tremendous sigh of relief."
Mr Brennan added: "We're looking at how he was able to hold out so long. I think it's inconceivable that he didn't have a support system."

Wajid Shamsul Hasan, Pakistan's High Commissioner in London, insisted his country's authorities had been unaware of Bin Laden's whereabouts.
But the discovery of the war lord's large, purpose-built complex in a busy urban area raised fresh questions about the role of Pakistan's ISI intelligence agency.

The plans are being hatched by a Government-backed review amid fears that children are being exposed to unsuitable images before the 9pm watershed.
A huge row broke out last year over near-the-knuckle dance routines by stars Rihanna and Christina Aguilera on the X Factor final.
More than 3,000 people complained to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom about the performances.
The regulator's own Broadcasting Code states that "children must be protected by appropriate scheduling from material that is unsuitable for them".
It adds: "Material that is unsuitable for children should not, in general, be shown before 9pm or after 5.30am".
But the new review, led by Mothers' Union boss Reg Bailey, is set to call for those guidelines to be tightened even further.
Prime Minister David Cameron launched the probe last year after becoming concerned about the "sexualisation" of children.
It emerged yesterday that Mr Bailey's report could recommend the axing of risque TV scenes shown before the 9pm watershed. Sources close to the review used the X Factor controversy and the infamous lesbian kiss on Brookside in the 1990s, as examples of scenes that could be banned before 9pm.

MARIAH CAREY has given husband NICK CANNON a wedding anniversary present to remember — a baby boy and girl.

The twins were born three years after the couple wed.
Carey's representative, Cindi Berger, said the singer delivered at 7.05am at an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles.
Berger revealed that the baby girl was born first, weighing 5lb 3oz and measuring 18 inches. Her brother was 5lb 6oz and 19 inches.
Cannon tweeted: "My wife just gave me the most incredible anniversary gift ever in life! I won't ever be able to top this!"
Modest Mimi, 42, celebrated by listening to her own track We Belong Together after the as-yet-unamed children were born.
Celebs including NICKI MINAJ, ALYSSA MILANO and BOYZ II MEN have all sent tweets to the new mum.
Minaj wrote: "Congratulations Mariah & Nick!!!!!!!!! The twins have finally landed on earth!!! Yaaayyyy!!!!! @MariahCarey mmmuuuaaahhhh!!!!!!"
