Tiger out ‘partying with love Rachel
Tiger ... 'at Xmas do'
LOVE rat Tiger Woods has been seen partying with his alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel, it was reported last night.
The golf legend has been in hiding for a month since the car crash that led to revelations he cheated on wife Elin Nordegren, 29, with several women.
But sources told a US TV show that Woods, 33, and Uchitel, 34, were spotted holding hands at a party in Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday night.

The show's website also reported the pair partied together the previous night at a club.
Some sources told Entertainment Tonight they are living together in the Florida resort.
Uchitel has been photographed in the area, but Woods has not been seen at all since the sex scandal broke.
At least 11 women claim to have had flings with Woods.
Earlier this month he admitted his "infidelity" and said he was taking an "indefinite break" from golf.

THE BEST OF KANYE (TRIALS & TRIUMPHS)

InStyle's 100 best dresses of the decade
Kate Hudson's luminous gold lace Versace gown from the 2003 Academy Awards tops our list as the No. 1 Dress of the Decade. "It had a level of extravagance that just had you gasping," Rubenstein said. "The combination of her golden skin, golden hair and the yards of gold lace. I was stunned."
A close second is the strapless champagne-colored and Swarovski-encrusted Armani Prive gown Anne Hathaway wore to the 2009 Academy Awards. "The huge, iridescent paillettes came down at a diagonal and created a great mermaid effect," Rubenstein said. "This dress ... was like a burst of light underneath her."
See all 100 best dresses of the decade
We also applaud bold and empowering choices, like our No. 8 and No. 12 picks: the one-shoulder Atelier Yves Saint Laurent gown Kate Winslet wore to the 2009 Academy Awards and the short yellow Nina Ricci that Reese Witherspoon wore to the 2007 Golden Globes.
See the most daring dresses of the year
"This dress shows the sexiness of a real woman who makes no apologies for her curves," Rubenstein said of Winslet's steely gray dress. Of Witherspoon's non-traditional choice, he noted: "This was Reese's first moment out after her split with Ryan Philippe: Strapless, short, yellow, unadorned and showing her body. I love the unexpectedness of it. It was a brilliant strategy, and it really worked."
The most dramatic celebrity hair transformations of the year
Perennial fashion favorite Sarah Jessica Parker floated down the 2003 Emmy Awards red carpet in a pale pink Chanel Couture gown, our No. 9 pick. "There's something so happy about this dress," Rubenstein said. "Those fabulous, weightless layers of organza. It's like cotton candy or a pink meringue soufflé."
10 Hairstyles that never go out of style
So who made the list most? Cate Blanchett and Kate Hudson, four times each! And designers Chanel, Donna Karan, Jean Paul Gaultier, Lanvin, Prada and Valentino all have four dresses in the top 100. See if your favorites made our list at InStyle.com.

Wife ‘broke Tiger’s cheek with 9 Iron'
Swing ... Tiger Woods
TWO-timing Tiger Woods needed his face rebuilding after fuming wife Elin battered him with a golf club, it was claimed yesterday.
Furman Bisher, one of America's most respected sports journalists, said the nine iron smashed the golf legend's cheek bone - and his two front teeth were almost knocked out.
Bisher - described as the country's top golf writer - also claimed the injuries are the real reason Tiger, 33, has not been seen in public since his mysterious car smash early on November 27.

The retired writer claims his information came from a trustworthy colleague of Tiger's agent, Mark Steinberg.
Bisher said on his blog that Tiger spent America's Thanksgiving Day, November 26, exchanging texts with mistress Rachel Uchitel, 34.
He then went out to play poker with friends but left his mobile phone behind - and Elin read one of the messages.
Gash

Tiger returned at midnight and there was a "heated discussion".
Bisher wrote: "Tiger sat in a chair in the living room.
"Elin sat across from him, urging Tiger to just come clean. Tiger stayed to his guns and denied everything.
"At one point Tiger turned away to look at the TV and, as he turned back, Elin hit him on the right side of the face with the head of a nine iron.
"She put a huge gash in the right side of his face next to his nose, causing his nose to bruise some, virtually knocking two of his upper teeth out and breaking the bone on the upper right side.

"Tiger ran scared as hell out of the house, with Elin swinging the golf club, through the hallway to the garage."
The blog said that as Tiger tried to drive off, Elin smashed the car windows. He hit a tree outside their home in Orlando, Florida.
Bisher said the golfer took a private jet to Phoenix, Arizona, to see a plastic surgeon and cosmetic dentist for "intense" reconstructive procedures.
Allegedly, that was why he failed to meet Florida Highway Patrol cops on three occasions to discuss the crash.
Tiger has now been linked to at least 13 women and has publicly apologised.
His wife of five years Elin, 29, is said to have seen a divorce lawyer and spent Christmas with her family in her native Sweden.
Last night Tiger's agent Mark Steinberg told The Sun Bisher's claims were "patently false".
Tiger has previously denied Elin used violence.

I get lonely... I imagine a day Muslims rule whole world
Glare ... Umar Abdulmutallab near Parliament
JET terrorist Umar Abdulmutallab is a sexually frustrated loner who nurtured fantasies about holy war, The Sun can reveal.
The twisted mind of the seized bomber emerged in chilling messages he posted on an Islamic web forum.
The Sun retrieved 300 of them in a special investigation into the al-Qaeda fanatic.

In one, posted in 2005 when he was 19, he wrote: "I wont go into too much details about me fantasy, but basically they are jihad fantasies.
"I imagine how the great jihad will take place, how the Muslims will win insha'Allah (God willing) and rule the whole world, and establish the greatest empire once again!"
In another, he said: "Killing is only permitted in jihad."

And in a third, he complained of being depressed during his days at a boarding school in Togo.
He said he never found a true Muslim friend.
And he added: "As I get lonely, the natural sexual drive awakens and I struggle to control it, sometimes leading to minor sinful activities. This problem makes me want to get married to avoid getting aroused."

A harsh puritan streak shone through in the views of Nigerian-born Abdulmutallab, who spent three years in Britain as a mechanical engineering student at University College London.
It is best illustrated by his attitude to FOOTBALL.
In early 2005 he wrote cheerfully about the game. He said: "Liverpool is my chosen club," though he rated Chelsea's "classy" Frank Lampard as a better player than Kop idol Steven Gerrard.
But later in the year, his stance changed dramatically.
During a web discussion about soccer, he commented: "I honestly don't think the prophet would sit back, relax and enjoy watching Beckham kick the ball around.
"I think football is a doubtful matter... let's save our honour and religion and try and stay away from football."
He added: "Let's do activities like jogging, running, paintball, archery (or any other sport of the like that teaches target and aim), swimming, wrestling, weightlifting, martial arts, some form of fitness training and so on."
Abdulmutallab, 23, tried to detonate explosives moulded to his groin on a Northwest Airlines flight approaching Detroit from Amsterdam on Christmas Day.
He visited Britain before coming here to study - and told pals he attended London's Regent's Park mosque.

Using the online alias Farouk1986, taken from his middle name and year of birth, he became a vocal opponent of the war on terror.
And he told how he attended an Arabic course in Yemen, where he trained for his evil bombing mission.
He said other students on the language course came from Britain, the US and Somalia.
Abdulmutallab also talked of the "dilemma between liberalism and extremism" as a Muslim.
He wrote: "I deviate sometimes and when I strive hard, I get tired of what I am doing i.e. memorising the quran etc."
His outpourings will be studied by intelligence experts anxious to discover his extremist links in the UK.
..................................................................................................Obama: Security failure to blame
Closing down ... Guantanamo
BARACK Obama last night blamed "human and systemic failure" for a terrorist bid to blow up a jet over America.
The President said information about al-Qaeda fanatic Umar Abdulmutallab was not properly shared by US intelligence staff before he tried to detonate explosives aboard the Christmas Day flight.
Mr Obama said: "I consider it totally unacceptable. The warning signs would have triggered red flags and the suspect would never have been allowed to board that plane for America."

Speaking on a break from his Hawaii holiday, Mr Obama said a security review he ordered would tighten procedures, but warned "there is still no 100 per cent guarantee of success".
Abdulmutallab, 23, launched his failed attack as the Northwest Airlines jet approached Detroit from Amsterdam with almost 300 people on board.
The President said: "When our government has information on a known extremist and that information is not shared and acted upon as it should have been, so that this extremist boards a plane with dangerous explosives that could cost nearly 300 lives, a systemic failure has occurred.
"And I consider that totally unacceptable. It now appears that weeks ago this information was passed to a component of our intelligence community but was not effectively distributed so as to get the suspect's name on a no-fly list.
"There were bits of information available that could and should have been pieced together. It's becoming clear the system in place for years is not sufficiently up-to-date to take full advantage of the information we collect and knowledge we have.
"The reviews I have ordered will tell us more, but what is apparent was that there was a mix of human and systemic failures that contributed to this potentia catastrophic breach of security."
The President praised the "extraordinary" work of US intelligence but said "a mix of human and systemic failures" contributed to this "potentially catastrophic breach of security".
Last night it was claimed Abdulmutallab had links to a US soldier who killed 13 colleagues at a Texas military base last month.
Mr Obama spoke as it emerged that six terror detainees were sent back to al-Qaeda hotspot Yemen ten days ago after being freed from Guantanamo Bay.
They were repatriated despite warnings the country is a major centre for hundreds of militants planning attacks.
There are also terror training camps, including one where Abdulmutallab spent a month.
US politicians yesterday urged Mr Obama to stop sending suspects to Yemen as he shuts the Cuban detention centre.

Slaughter at custody visit
Mummy's girl ... beautiful Maisie Copland grins for snap with her mum Julie Harrison
TRAGIC Maisie Copland was shot dead yesterday within minutes of being dropped off with her father for a custody visit.

First raging Andy Copland argued in the street with the four-year-old's mum Julie Harrison before locking both in his house.
Neighbours then heard shouts and screams.
But while they were ringing 999 Copland shot both Maisie and Julie in the head at point-blank range before turning the gun on himself.

Police forced their way into what just four weeks ago had been the family home and found a scene of horror downstairs.
Officers battled in vain to save Maisie while Copland, 56, lay dead nearby - a pistol by his side. Julie was sprawled in the hall with terrible head wounds.
She was rushed by helicopter from the house in Aldershot, Hants, to hospital in Tooting, South London, where last night she was described as "critical but stable".
Witnesses told how Julie, 40, had pulled up outside the end-of-terrace house at 10am in her red
Renault - only to face a tirade from Copland over custody arrangements.
Neighbour Rachael Bryan said: "She was just stopping for a moment so she double parked and the engine was still running. Someone was trying to drive up the street but couldn't get through. They were tooting their horn.
Do you know Julie or Copland? If so call the newsdesk on 0207 7824104
Emailexclusive@the-sun.co.uk
"Another neighbour ran out and said Andy had locked the woman in the house.
"The police turned up and broke the door down and then there were ambulances, helicopters and even more police everywhere."
Rachael added: "I only moved in at the beginning of December and I've only seen him a couple of times - but he struck me as a very angry man.
"Another neighbour told me that he used to be all right and it was only when she left with the kid that he started behaving like that."
A family friend said: "Andy Copland was a very violent and temperamental man.
"In the past I believe he had been sentenced to about six years in jail for arson and threatening his previous wife.

"He was always a nasty piece of work - a loose cannon."
But Graham Selway, who works in a nearby tool store, said Copland "seemed like a genuinely nice guy".
He said: "Andy is in the building trade and often came in for tools. He has lived at the address for about 15 years. When I saw him he would always smile."
And workmate Scott Large agreed: "He seemed a friendly guy. I really can't believe it - this is a sort of dreary, dozy, quiet sort of place."
Bearded and bespectacled Copland had split from Julie at the end of November and she moved out of the £200,000 lilac and cream house with Maisie.
Neighbour Mandy Lemmon, 40, wept as she left flowers and a teddy at a growing shrine at the scene. She sobbed: "Julie is just a lovely woman and she had such a gorgeous little girl."
Sally Denny, 35 - whose four-year-old Noah was in the same reception class as Maisie - said: "Julie is a lovely, reliable friend and a great full-time mum.
"I am praying she pulls through but know she will be devastated to hear Maisie has died. It will be the end of the world for her.
"Maisie was a happy, funny and cheeky girl. She loved to sing songs by Katy Perry in the car on the way home from school.

"My last memory of her was seeing her perform in the school nativity. She was dressed as a star but she will always be an angel."
Julie had posted a touching snap of her and Maisie on her Friends Reunited page before the split. She had told pals she was "living with someone" and was "happily caring for my daughter!"
Copland had grown-up children from an earlier marriage. One is believed to be a community support officer with Surrey Police.
Ex-wife Christine Barr was not at her home in Farnham last night. A neighbour said: "She never spoke about her ex."
Meanwhile forensic experts were combing the house while cops were trying to establish if the gun was held legally.
Det Insp Darren Rawlings said three unarmed officers - unaware a gun had been used - had rushed to the house and "faced a very traumatic scene".
They desperately tried to resuscitate Maisie. Paramedics treated Julie before she was stretchered to the air ambulance.
DI Rawlings confirmed: "We understand the couple had been separated for just over four weeks.
"The mother is the vital witness but she is unconscious and in a serious, life-threatening condition.
"We have officers with her who will speak to her as soon as she is able to talk."
Aston Villa 0 Liverpool 1
GOAL KING ... Liverpool hitman Fernando Torres struck a late winner to sink Aston Villa
THERE is already a space reserved in the Anfield Hall of Fame for Liverpool's favourite Spanish Torreador.
They like a striker on Merseyside - Ian Rush, Robbie Fowler, John Aldridge, Michael Owen, Albert Stubbins.
But Fernando Torres is on course to top the lot of them.
The forward hardly had a touch at snow-swept Villa Park.
But a night of anonymity was instantly forgotten as he delivered three points to grateful boss Rafa Benitez with a 93rd-minute strike.
When Torres comes alive in the penalty area he is virtually unstoppable. Muchos gracias, amigo!
Torres scored his 12th goal in 15 league games and his 50th in 72 top-flight matches to make Liverpool history. To put the statistic into perspective, Rush took 84 matches to clock the half-century, Fowler 88 and Owen 98.
Even good old Stubbins, back in the 1940s, needed 80 games to reach the landmark.
Stubbins' other claim to fame is that he is featured on the front cover of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the classic Beatles album now digitally remastered and released again.
Liverpool have their own digital master in Torres - although Villa boss Martin O'Neill might not agree.
O'Neill looked on in stunned disbelief as his team were mugged in a snowstorm.
Torres struck after the excellent Richard Dunne slipped and Dirk Kuyt and Yossi Benayoun combined to set up the Spaniard, who clinically swept home an inch-perfect low shot.
It was really harsh on the home side who had not lost in front of their own fans since the opening fixture of the season.
The snow arrived bang on forecast, which made watching a slightly surreal experience as a blizzard swirled round Villa Park.
Ski goggles would have been nice - and that was just on the pitch! This is the time of year when most of Europe takes a footballing break and the English go fixture-crazy.
Benitez has been around long enough to get used to the demands of the Christmas programme.
He has also been around long enough to know his job is very much on the line after half a campaign of under-achievement.
This time last year Liverpool were top and looking like title contenders, yet they started last night 15 points adrift of leaders Chelsea in eighth place - and out of the Champions League.
Bouncing back from Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Arsenal was the main item on a Villa agenda which next week takes in a Carling Cup semi-final against Blackburn.
Back in August, Villa blew the first hole in the Anfield foundations with a 3-1 thumping.
It meant they were bidding for their first double over Liverpool since the 1993 season. Kop skipper Steven Gerrard must secretly feel he alone is carrying the weight of a club on his shoulders, so it was no surprise when he created the visitors' first proper chance.
His low free-kick took a late deflection for a corner and proved to be a warm-up for a shot which Brad Friedel tipped over the bar 60 seconds later.
The American keeper also made a routine catch from a Torres header. And when Alberto Aquilani fed the Spanish star, Friedel was out to block.
Pepe Reina again showed his worth to the Liverpool cause with one fabulous stop to deny Stewart Downing's volley.
Reina also caught Dunne's header from Downing's corner and scooped up a soft effort from James Milner. There is always an edge to matches between these two sides, perhaps because Benitez and O'Neill are hardly friends following the spat over Gareth Barry 18 months ago.
They stood a few feet apart in the snow, which had absolutely no chance of thawing in that area!
Villa desperately went searching for the winner while home keeper Friedel was not really tested.
Reina had to save from Gabby Agbonlahor while John Carew flashed a header wide.
Then, in the dying seconds, disaster for Villa - unbridled joy for Benitez.
O'Neill has to be a master psychologist again to lift his deflated players. The Carling Cup becomes a very important hurdle to clear.
As for Benitez, one snow flake does not make a blizzard.
But it is a start.

'Tis the season to be Giving, falalala.......

Obama orders review of flight screenings
(CNN) -- President Obama has ordered a review of security screening processes after Friday's botched terror attack on a U.S. airliner, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said Sunday.
Appearing on the ABC program "This Week" and the NBC program "Meet the Press," Gibbs said Obama is receiving regular briefings by his national security staff on the incident in which a suspect allegedly tried to detonate an explosive device on a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, making its final approach to Detroit, Michigan.
The suspect, 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was on a broad watch list of 550,000 names since last month, Gibbs said.
That list does not automatically bring tighter screening of individuals, Gibbs said, and Obama has ordered a review of the procedures for determining which people on the list undergo more stringent checking.
Obama also called for "a review to ... figure out why an individual with the chemical explosive he had on him could get on a plane in Amsterdam and fly into the United States," Gibbs said on NBC.
"The president is very confident that this government is taking the steps that are necessary to take our fight to those who seek to do us harm," Gibbs said on the ABC program.
Authorities on Sunday focused their investigation on how a lone traveler smuggled explosives aboard the Northwest Airlines flight and who might have helped him.
Abdulmutallab, who had a multiple entry visa to the United States, was charged Saturday in a federal criminal complaint.
Q&A: Why did security checks fail to spot explosives
People on the flight described a chaotic scene that began with a popping sound followed by flames erupting at Abdulmutallab's seat. Jasper Schuringa, a Dutch passenger on the flight from Amsterdam, leaped across the aisle to grab the suspect, who according to authorities suffered burns on his legs.
Schuringa told CNN he saw that Abdulmutallab was holding a burning object between his legs.
"I pulled the object from him and tried to extinguish the fire with my hands and threw it away," Schuringa said. He said he heard fire extinguishers as he pulled Abdulmutallab out of his seat and dragged him to the front of the plane.
In Nigeria, Abdulmutallab checked no baggage on his trip that originated in Lagos on a KLM flight to Amsterdam, where he changed planes to the Northwest flight, according to Harold Demuren, director-general of Nigeria's Civil Aviation Authority.
The suspect had a shoulder bag and went through the normal check-in process with his passport and U.S. visa scanned, Demuren said Sunday. The multiple-entry U.S. visa was issued in London, England, in June 2008 with an expiration date of June 2010, Demuren said.
Abdulmutallab then passed through a walk-through metal detector and put his shoulder bag through an X-ray screening machine, Demuren said. He also said the suspect underwent secondary screening at the boarding gate for the KLM flight, according to officials of the Dutch airline.
The father of the suspect recently contacted the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria with concerns his son was planning something, a senior U.S. administration official said Saturday.
The father -- identified by a family source as Umaru Abdulmutallab -- contacted the embassy "a few weeks ago" saying his son, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, had "become radicalized," the senior administration official, who is familiar with the case, told CNN.
A family source told CNN that the elder Abdulmutallab -- who recently retired as chairman of First Bank PLC, one of Nigeria's premier banks -- had contacted the embassy in Nigeria's capital, Abuja, and various other security agencies earlier than the timeline provided by the administration official. The family source said Abdulmutallab went to those agencies about three months ago after receiving a text message from his son.
The source, who lives at the family home in Kaduna in northern Nigeria, said the son informed his family in the text message that he was leaving school in Dubai to move to Yemen. He implied that he was leaving "for the course of Islam."
The family member said Abdulmutallab "had no family consent or support," adding he "absconded to Yemen."
Abdulmutallab's information about his son was forwarded to the National Counter-Terrorism Center, and Abdulmutallab was added to a general watch list, a senior administration official said. But the official said "the info on him was not deemed specific enough to pull his visa or put him on a no-fly list."
In addition, the official said there was "no derogatory information that would have prevented him from getting a visa" back in June 2008.
A law enforcement official familiar with the investigation into Abdulmutallab said investigators are still trying to trace his past travels.
"Investigators are looking into any al Qaeda connections and whether he had help and training from Yemen," the law enforcement official said.
A preliminary FBI analysis found that the device on the plane contained PETN, also known as Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate, a highly explosive chemical compound. In addition, FBI agents recovered what appear to be remnants of a syringe near Abdulmutallab's seat, believed to have been part of the device.
The family source said Abdulmutallab received a college degree at the University College London, where spokesman Dave Weston said a man named Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab was enrolled in the mechanical engineering department between September 2005 and June 2008.
When Abdulmutallab returned to Nigeria from London, he told his family he wanted to get a second college degree in Cairo, Egypt, or Saudi Arabia, the family source said. The family refused because they were worried that he may have developed ties to some dubious people. He went to Dubai instead, the source said, where he sent a text message saying he had gone to Yemen to start a new life and that it would be difficult for anyone to reach him because he had thrown away his SIM card.
Abdulmutallab's father notified the U.S. Embassy with information on his son, saying the family feared he went to Yemen to participate in "some kind of jihad."
A federal security bulletin obtained by CNN said Abdulmutallab claimed the explosive device used Friday "was acquired in Yemen along with instructions as to when it should be used."
Yemeni authorities have yet to receive official information on the terror attempt, according to a Yemeni official who asked not to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the media. But, the source said the country's government will take immediate action once the attempted bombing suspect's alleged link to the country is officially identified.
Earlier Saturday, the Netherlands' national coordinator for counterterrorism told CNN that Abdulmutallab had gone through "normal security procedures" in Amsterdam before boarding the flight and those were "well-performed."
The initial impression is that the suspect was acting alone and did not have any formal connections to organized terrorist groups, a U.S. administration official said.
Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, who chairs the House Committee on Homeland Security, said the attempted act of terrorism would be the focus of an oversight hearing next month. Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-West Virginia, also said his Senate Commerce Committee would hold a hearing on the incident.
In Nigeria, the government said Saturday that it "received with dismay the news of attempted terrorist attack on a U.S. airline" and has ordered its security agencies to investigate the incident.
Officials from the Nigerian Embassy in Washington have flown to Michigan "to gain Consular access" to Abdulmutallab, the embassy said in a statement Saturday. The embassy said it plans to cooperate with U.S. authorities.
An official with the Transportation Security Administration told CNN there will be increased security measures taken on international flights to the United States. The official advised travelers to allow for extra time before the flight. There will be no change in the number of carry-on bags allowed.
